"2020" Husker Volleyball

Didn't some teams also play in the fall and not the spring?  Are those teams playing in the NCAA tournament too?  Would be weird to have not played a game since December and then BAM you're in the field of 48 four months later.

I know there was a big push by numerous coaches to expand the field back out to 64, but I doubt the NCAA will react to that. I suppose this will make the tournament a lot more competitive in those early rounds.

As far as brackets, Nebraska is opposite #4 Texas and #1 Wisconsin. NU could likely to meet #12 Baylor if the Huskers can take care of the early matches in Omaha. Will be a strange tourney this year...

No locker rooms or broadcast teams for the Woman's Volleyball tournament? How incompetent is the NCAA? What a tone deaf organization... Hopefully this doesn't reflect bad on Omaha, because I'm sure the city gave the NCAA all resources at it's disposal to pull off a good tournament.

It's creeping up on us, so just wanted to provide a reminder. It looks like first round matches start tomorrow; Nebraska plays the winner of Texas St. vs. Utah Valley on Thursday at 2:30 pm CT.

Nebraska volleyball is staying at the downtown Omaha Marriott, which is walking distance to the CHI convention center & arena.

Huskers defeat Texas State 25-18, 25-17, 25-20. NU will face Baylor in the Regional semifinal 4/18.

NU-UT is Monday at approx. 1:30 pm CDT inside the arena (instead of how the early rounds were done in the convention center).

Huskers didn't have all its weapons at full disposal today, and Texas did. It was a hard way to see this shortened season end in late April, at the hands of the Horns no less. GBR
