came across this on youtube (a discussion on Gopher wbb):

in short: Gophers add athleticism, length, and quickness with a few of the new additions. height with 6'5" Sophie Hart (transfer). these two concur that with the new coach, should see the program move forward. with the hotbed the state of minnesota is regarding prep recruits, if DP can show progress in her first year, the doors should at least be open to keep some of the best talent at home. they both agree you can build a Big Ten contender with the in-state talent. of course, it all comes down to putting up more "w's".

they believe with the talent minny has and combine that with incoming players, this squad can battle for that 5-6 spot.

i'm gonna say Dawn Plitzuweit has the barn rockin' next season and it's going to be tough to win there. won't surprise me if they pull a big upset or two at the barn. i'll say it is almost certain gophs won't be playing on that first day in the big ten tournament.
Injuries baby injuries.

but, that goes for every team.
True, how much of a difference do you think AW would have made? Had she had a full season in the league? Two or three wins,

expansion rumors.....again:

not sure how credible "thespun" is, but, here it is...

"The Big Ten could be in the market for new members fairly soon.

According to Jim Williams, there are 10 teams that have been vetted by the Big Ten for possible membership.

Those 10 schools are Cal, Stanford, Oregon, Washington, Georgia Tech, Virginia, North Carolina, Duke, Utah, and Miami."

Not too surprising considering this is Clark's last year. She is a generational player.

Can that be verified? Is this truly her last year? Cuz I would really enjoy the upcoming WBB season more if I knew that she definitely won’t be back the next season!  😉

Who knows.  Below (a bit dated), is from her appearance on the Dan Patrick show back in February.

Iowa basketball star Caitlin Clark revealed Monday that she is considering delaying her professional career for another season as she might use her COVID year of eligibility.

As a junior, Clark will play at least one more collegiate season before declaring for the WNBA draft. (Clark, 21, won’t be eligible for the WNBA draft until 2024.) That could easily turn into two more seasons if Clark decides to extend her collegiate career.

“That’s where I want to be [the WNBA], but I have another year here and possibly one more after that just because of COVID,” Clark said on Monday’s episode of the Dan Patrick Show. “I probably will have to make a decision on that sometime next year. I really have no clue what I’m going to do, stay for an extra year or leave after next year.”

Clark said NIL deals won’t be a contributing factor in her decision because she expects many of those sponsorships to carry over into her professional career.

I think she will go pro as she loves the biggest stage possible.

I would throw an argument at you though...is the WNBA a bigger stage then she has right now?

There may be more jingle in her pocket; but I am not convinced more people will watch/follow her than what she has right now.
