He's still on our radar. We're going out to see him in the next two days

Man, if there was only some way we could get Kesei and Tibet both here next year. Both are outstanding perimeter shooters. Kesei can dribble behind a screen and smoothly elevate for a balanced shot. Tibet is really quick at catching and shooting accurately. Both have some ball handling skill as well. Having two guys on the floor who are both unconscious shooters, to go with an ultra-quick PG who can drive and dish, would be a really potent weapon.

Here is a clip for him. He's #10. The team they were playing against beat them soundly and that's probably to be expected as at least 3 of their guys are international players.

He can run, he can shoot, he is tall....many of the check marks of what we're looking for.  Kavas with better handles.  Also Kavas like on defense. I'd have to watch the international tape to see if he plays it.

 

The other guy listed here is supposed to be 6'8". They look about the same height I think.

 

It doesn't appear that anyone else is really offering him. Seems to be ours for the taking if we think he can hold up in this conference.

I saw that video. The team he plays for might be pretty terrible. That point guard looks like he's 4'10. In shoes.

 

But man that kid, Tibet, can shoot the ball. And it would be a beautiful thing for us to have a couple of kids who can shoot the ball like that.

I feel sorry for that PG and what he will be dealing with against Devin Askew tonight. 
 

as for Gorener I just don’t see him being a fit with what’s already coming in and what’s coming back. I see him end up being a guy that Chooses a WCC school come spring.

His offensive highlights were very nice. Stroke is quick and efficient. Defense was oof though. I wouldn't prioritize him over another PG though. He would project as a 3/4 at a position we'd already be loaded at. But I would gladly take him because of his shot. That fits in with Fred's offense automatically

A kid with his athleticism can be taught to play defense.  Beyond impressed with his offensive skills.  I don’t think we’d ever want him guarding the post, but he actually looks quick and long enough to guard the three.  He’d probably out score a lot of his matchups.
