I think we've seen a good enough sample of conference games to see that we have to play great ball to have a chance to win conference games this year. However just like most of you, games like this break my heart. I still remember being at Devaney when Jamar Johnson beat Kansas with a 3 at the buzzer. We were getting to the big dance fairly consistently. I am very hopeful that Tim Miles is going to be the man to get us to be relevant on the national scene. Let's all enjoy the highs of this season which may be far and few between, and make it through the rough patches! Go Big Red

We have 11 games left.  I do not think this game should be considered your normal Big 10 game.  This game was way out there with the refs.  I am NOT saying the refs lost us this game, cause we did not help ourselves on the glass or with TO's.  I am saying the refs took this game into their hands and cost us a chance at a close game in the end.

I look at the schedule and still feel that this team could still win 3, 4, possibly 5 more games.  When I say this team, I mean the team that shows up, shoots pretty well, defends well, and is not hammered by foul trouble.  Some of you will read this and say I want some of what that guy is drinking, but I guess I just feel that we can do it.  Sure it will be a long road to get there, and 1 to 2 more wins is most likely, but I am saying, lets see how Saturday goes.

A loss Saturday, and things may start to tank fast with fans and players.  A win Saturday, and a boost in team spirit may do some crazy things.

I think 5 more wins is a real stretch with these guys.  Right now, I'd be pretty happy to win three more.  That'd get us to 13-18 going into the B1G tournament.  I'd say for most of us, if surveyed before the season began, that's about what we'd expect.

I agree that the refs sucked. Wouldn't even let 10 seconds run without blowing the whistle. Not the reason we lost, but did anyone else notice that when they actually let 2-3 possessions go without a whistle, that is when we would go on one of our mini-runs? And the refs only let that happen probably 3 times the entire game. Again, not the reason we lost, but they certainly took away any chance we had.

I think that Saturday is probably the tipping point between a one or two victory finish and a possible four or five win finish, not to mention a completely apathetic and pathetic end to BSDC and a more dignified exit. Don't know how I am leaning at present. Maybe I'll wait to see how Noah handicaps the game.

Yeah, I agree w/ the thoughts on tomorrow being a "tipping point" for the Huskers @ home.  Our NU can not lose a 4th straight home game in conference.  We really don't want another home loss to the other NU (how is Noah rootin' for this one???).

Please, Nebraska, win, PLEASE!!
