If he can't grip a bat, how's he going to grip a baseball, tomorrow?

The injury is to his ring finger, so maybe that won't affect him to much to grip a ball.

I heard it last night, too.  I was kind of curious.  They said that they thought he was available to pitch, on Sunday.  If he can't grip the bat, he's not going to be able to grip a baseball, but I'm not a doctor.

He got stepped on Wednesday sliding head first into second, maybe he should have slid feet first.
