Art Vandalay Posted December 7, 2016 Report Posted December 7, 2016 We really need a PG or at least a combo guard who can be a legit three point threat next year. With Tai gone next year if Glynn gets hurt we are in trouble, do not trust Evan to lead our offense, teams will just back off him all day. If not in 2017 we need a legit stud like Glynn in the 2018 class Quote
Huskerpapa Posted December 7, 2016 Report Posted December 7, 2016 Certainly a different type of PG than Glynn. Looks like he has game. Quote
bigFRED Posted December 7, 2016 Report Posted December 7, 2016 If he was a senior last year, shouldn't he be in college? Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted December 7, 2016 Report Posted December 7, 2016 He is in Prep School correct? The # says MtZionPrep on the tweet. Quote

Swan88 Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 This is from a recent article about Hightower, who says he wants to play point guard: Prep Showcase: Georgia native Teshaun Hightower raises stock EVAN DANIELS 11/23/2016 2017 recruit Teshaun Hightower picked a good weekend to play well, as he raised his stock at the National Prep Showcase. College coaches are searching for available guard options and this past weekend at the National Prep Showcase there were a host of schools looking to evaluating 6-foot-6 Teshaun Hightower. Hightower, a combo guard that has grown to 6-foot-6, impressed with his quickness, athleticism and playmaking ability. Hightower, of Mount Zion Prep, made plays with the ball in his hands, slashed to the basketball and also impacted the game with his defense. In his first game of the event, Hightower went 6-for-11 from the field, scoring 15 points and tossing out three assists. His production escalated in his second outing, as he scored 22 points and reeled in 10 boards in a loss to Brewster. Silverbacked1 and AuroranHusker 2 Quote
49r Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 That'll be perfect, Tai will be gone next year and Glynn will be a Jr. They can platoon until Glynn graduates then Teshaun will be the man! Silverbacked1 1 Quote
FredsSlacks Posted December 13, 2016 Report Posted December 13, 2016 a point guard and a true center would probably make the most sense to fill the 2017 class. Quote
MitchMcGaryMunchies Posted December 13, 2016 Report Posted December 13, 2016 I guess he has decent handles, but man...not fond of that jumper. At all. He takes forever to get it in the air and the form does not exactly look repeatable. Difficult to get much of an assessment from a mix tape -- and a poorly produced one, at that -- but I have my reservations. Kinda looks like a ball-dominating combo guard that would struggle if you took the ball out of his hands and moved him to shooting guard. He'd probably score more points than an open scholarship would, though. Soooooo... 49r 1 Quote

Glynn nearly dropped 30 points on UCLA. What type of game are you referring to? We're playing "basketball" here. Edited December 13, 2016 by MitchMcGaryMunchies Quote

Fullbacksympathy Posted December 15, 2016 Report Posted December 15, 2016 Like this kid's game a lot. That's one hell of a ball handler for 6'6". Goodness. He'd be an awesome fit offensively. Quote
