Playing Ohio State twice is no bargain. To bad we don't play Iowa twice. Nice to see Maryland only once. Tough schedule for a team that may lack some scoring punch to support Shephard.

We have to beat Iowa every time we play them.  That's true in every sport.

As for added scoring punch I think some one will step up or better yet we will have consistent contributions from the team as a whole from game to game.  Better bench scoring would help in that respect.

And I wouldn't count out contributions from the incoming class of freshmen!   :)

Kind of see this team will be considerably different than last year.

Our sophomore big's will be much improved with a year of B1G experience under their belts. If Jess (and Burn;s) have fully recovered, may well see both be able to do much more. :P

I hope for a big year from Allie. This is her last go around in NU red.

Our guards will have a lot of newbies to spread around, but some experience is coming back. Maddie, Cincore, Esther.  Plus we'll have at least one more true wing.

Biggest difference will most likely be much different team concepts. That will really be interesting to see how the team is put together scheme wise, personnel wise.

Beat the chicken hawks.....heck yes :D

If both Shepard and Blackburn can hit that 10-15 foot jumper on a consistent basis like Allie does, our inside game will very hard for any team to slow down. I actually think Allie is primed to have a career year. I look for the Whitish kid from Wisconsin to thrive and flourish in this new offensive scheme. I also think both newcomers Nicea E and Grace M. will surprise and will both turn in pretty solid freshmen seasons when all is said and done.
