Good points Silver. Plus, that Rivers guy doesn't shoot many 3s and isn't a power lifter, so he needs to go. And Parker--well, he's really short and isn't a great outside shooter. Gone. And that Shields guy--well, his knee flares up sometimes and limits him. And his dad was a football player, not basketball. So they all should go as well. .... I was coming from the angle that it's in Websters best interests to go! Career and development wise...i don't think it's in nearly as many young players best interest to transfer as is being done nowadays. It's crazy how many kids think they can just transfer out of their problems. I think Tim would have the mentality of hard work and teamwork, another reason I think we've seen him build this team on a foundation of defense. We'll get better, though of course everyone who maintained that we were highly overrated as a ranked team were completely right. Idk why people are freaking out so much! I guess that's what comes with growing pains as a team gains expectations and gets better.

No way dude. Love the islander, live the island. This guys a keeper, he just had an off night. I was at the first few games and the summer work looks like it paid off, he's so athletic. It's about technique now. Don't shoot him down man. No.

Yeah I noticed this too, and I'd like to see more time for the other guys as well. But I have a suspicion that it's just a system Tim is using where you have to ACTUALLY PLAY WELL in practice to get minutes. From what I saw from Hammond and clean up co, they don't deserve it YET. But i fully expect to see fuller, smith and others develop into roles as we build chemistry. I like the effect I see from the physical hard practices the guys have been through with Tim, and they all look like they are/want to work hard.

Nebrasketball early predictions Huskers look like they'll be great this year, and coach is seeing them working harder than ever, no motivation needed. They're ranked, returning the leaders, and leaner and meaner (I'm looking at you, tai). Even so, I'll keep my predictions as nonbiased and reasonable as possible. I know I'll end up kicking myself for these later, but here goes: Northern Kentucky: W Central Arkansas: W @ Rhode Island: W (though these guys have been scrappy at times in the past) UNO W Tennessee-Martin W @ Florida state W (tight matchup, can really go either way, but I see us pulling this out. Can see this as being a defining lynchpin game for the season) Creighton W (We'll take those basterds down. Blowout preferred) Incarnate word W Cincinnati W (Another good schedule by Tim last year. Great team, not sure who they'll suit up this year but it could be tough) Diamond head classic Hawaii W Second round (Wichita state) L Championship/consolation W (If we can beat Wichita, we'll win the whole thing. Hey, thanks, Nighthawk. I've decided I'll go trick-or-treating as a fat guy in a blazer with a loosened tie. Pretty frightening getup, I'd say. that's something I'm really curious about, and have been for quite a while; what was your inspiration for the cheers picture? Do you look just like him? Are you a show aficionado as I was in the past? Now that I've known you here for a few years, I have been conditioned via your profile pic to think of you personally as the character in the show. I'm not even sure if his name was norm, or something, or what!

mainly just for the reason that i have found a brotherhood that is just as apt and able to nerd out on nebrasketball with But also for the serious perspective, extra info and ideas I may have been too blind to see myself. I like to think we aren't too blindly fanatic, but obviously we are a BIT biased to be fair... I love this board, i love you guys (and girls, w/e); its like a big husker family lol. Amazing. The guy makes it look so easy and smooth, even as a junior. Man I can't wait. We're gonna be so good for a long time with Timmy's recruiting, and it started with the tourney berth last year. Hype train! Lol

I agree. If you think about it though, that's a lot of pressure to pick a college when your family has history here. I wouldn't be surprised if he went somewhere else just to do something new in the family, as I think Husker fans put too much into the historical connections. However, I'd still see him committing considering what all we have going here. I mean, it is pretty exciting what we have going, and I don't see why you wouldn't want to be part of it, especially when your other options include iowa (which I'd be surprised if he chose. Horrible choice lol). Of course that's just my bias speaking, but STILL.
