Which is really rough, when you realize that the 3 in this era of basketball is more popular than it's ever been. (Steph curry, etc etc) It's a staple of any contending team. So we have to face it and work on it. Miles can do it, I believe, but it's gonna be tough.

yeah, the shooting should (hopefully) improve, and I do like our talent. 3-0 ain't bad. Time to take the guys on camping trips and get real close, It'll be nasty in Dec and Jan... But it's that talent that has me excited! and we look much more balanced, we got good shots but they just weren't going down. lotta things to massively improve at, but at least we're moving more, moving away from hero ball and crumbling on D.

Glad engagement is so great early on, great start to the year guys!! Never surprised to see youth show early on in the season, some positives, more negatives as is natural. I hope we can keep winning early on (weathering storms) before our young teams gels and figures things out and their identity. I'm committing to stick with this squad, they're a fun bunch. EIU was scarier than it should've been. That said, for cupcake trap game #2: North Texas Mean, Lean Green: 73 Young, Baby Huskers: 79 No Excuse to not win this one comfortably guys.

yeah I guess, my issue is that if we haven't changed, those close games will be mostly losses. Suppose thats a positive for development in the long run, but there's a delicate balance in CBB between winning and learning loss experiences.

Surprisingly solid, veteran E Illinois team. Weathered the rocky storm, hopefully scared the young guys a bit. Clean up on the FTs and shooting in practice and keep going. And definitely don't schedule a directional Illinois team again. They're a good test for the guys, but dangerous to derail things if we drop one...

Came through in the clutch. Nice to have upper classmen on the team as a stabilizing force. They're the commodity in college basketball. Have to keep talent around to make a difference in the program.

It's 54-51 bad guys with 6:48 To go. I'm not liking this. But we've had a couple of good offensive possessions..only issue is we CAN'T SHOOT FOR SHIT as much as I love grit in a team early on, I can't stand nor understand how a team wilts in the spotlight and can't shoot like we have for as long back as I can remember... I know they're more than capable. We're to the point where go big red chants aren't being echoed back. Spirit is low. Gotta hit some SHOTS! Z

Remeber guys, this is all no more than a fun pasttime for husker fans (and football converts especially) until we see more of this team and decide we like them. They have to have some success and show they're the real deal. I'm quite optimistic. Have we had the lead yet tho? It's almost halftime and we just not have the lead. Crowds into it (having the lead!!!!).

Yeah I'd have to agree. Well see how it goes. Entire team looks well coached though, the hustle has been A+, especially this early in the year. Looks like its roby and glynn leading the team this year
