Same here. Best night to have tickets EVER. So proud of the guys and Tim, as well as this board and the amazing fans we have. I am really impressed.

I'm a student, and as far as I can tell, it's gonna be hard to even get a seat. A lot of us, I hear, are going to be allotted the north commons walkway to stand and watch. I'll be coming around 3-5 sometime and a lot of my friends are coming even earlier. It's gonna be crazy. Hopefully the hype isn't too much, but our guys are a family now, so I'm not worried.

Hey guys, so this was really bothering me so i thought I'd get a topic for it. The goons over at espn are making a huge deal about one of the best traditions in college basketball, the court storming. This has been mainly due to the clashes there were with the students and NMSU players a while back as well as the overeagerness of fans to rush the court, even for not that big of upsets. They are calling for a system of fines, and many coaches and colleges are trying to set up a way to discourage it. While there is a big problem in the lack of control over having the students rush too early and hurt people, I think it is part of the sport and people take a risk coming out in the first place. Probably one of the best traditions around and I hope I can actually get to do it someday. (as a senior, I hope that is this sunday ) Thoughts? what should the policy be? It's ridiculous that they are even considering cutting it all off because of a couple of idiots.

Sorry for another topic, this board has a crazy amount already. I'm just so excited! Just want to emphasize this, though I'm sure our fans will show up either way: IF we beat Indiana, and especially (probably even if we lose), the PBA will be ROCKIN' for the badgers. With how good we are at home I don't see how we don't win or at least make it close for down the stretch with a chance, even with them being the hottest team in the nation. Just want to issue one last rallying cry for this game, because I think it could be the game of the year, and if we win probably better than ohio state. I've seen some good ideas including the efforts to do the boxing thing with the red zone...which is awesome. Love how invested and involved we're getting with this team. Know it's early, but for prep I thought I'd get the ball rolling. Obviously the focus is still on Indiana. any other ideas we can whip up for the game? Any keys or thoughts about this game you'd like to share?Open floor, guys.

Everything I have seen has us at 4 I'd almost rather play penn st or NW in round 1 to add another win to our total. if we beat IU and Wisc, i think we get into the ncaa tourney regardless of what happens in the big10 I showed this to my dad and he mentioned that PERHAPS it would be better in the eyes of the committee if we achieve the 4th place finish and seed and first round bye. In my eyes it's a win-win though; a 4 or 5 seed both help us. Just win the last two. Two tough ones, hopefully this shaky play as of late can wake us up. Seems we aren't the same as a week or two ago. Idk if we are just tired or what, but we need to come to play. Every big ten game is gonna be a slugfest, including the tourney. "You can't smooth sail through the big ten!"

Will finishing 3-0 get us a bye? If we finish 3-0, I'd just as soon not get a bye because I think a first-round game would be an easier win for us and, if we finish the regular season with 3 more wins, I don't think it will matter who we beat because I think any win will put us in at that point. Get to 20. Period. Agree with you, norm. We need that extra first round game for an extra w hopefully. Don't see how that can hurt us, except perhaps having less time to prepare/rest...Like to see us at least at 2-1 through the rest of the way, but if that's the case I don't like our chances (also depends who we lose to). It'd be awesome if we could win out and get some momentum going for the tournament. I think it's totally possible, but depends again on which Nebraska shows up...

*edit We need 20-21 wins to get to the tourney... The seed isn't as important but can change the strategy a good bit and our chances to win the tourney.

Was thinking... What seed do you think we'll get, and consequently what will our path be to getting the 1-2 wins we need like everyone is saying? Obviously we are in a much better position going in than last year and years past, where we'd get a 10-12 seed and play one of the best teams right away if we pulled off an upset. If we are looking to get into the tournament with the way our conference is beating up on itself (which makes for interesting conference hierarchies!), methinks we need a 5-6 seed (which is probable), so we can play the worst teams in both rounds. a 4 seed would be nice too. Good position to be in, guys. There is still hope
