  1. I'm one who thinks Talley should probably get POTG he just does a ton has the ball for 80% of the time, is forced to create, pass, rebound and defend bigger players. He's a 3 playing point and we routinely keep it under 13 turnovers somehow.
  2. How about 6 wings at NZone or Brewskies? I think they do that at baseball games.
  3. There were some good reasons to fire Clem if I recall.
  4. As far N on 17th as possible S of Devaney under the overpass was a $3 city lot that worked pretty well. Lots of people parked for free in a University lot for free too. The thing about next year is that walking a long way through the Haymarket from a free spot will be pretty darn fun. Lots of possible spots. I really can't wait for the pregame atmosphere down there.
  5. They've been known to be good at hockey. Also having papers written for their basketball players.
  6. I'm guessing Miami can be crossed off the list. Any of these: Marquette, Georgetown, Louisville, UCLA, Arizona, NC State, VCU, Butler, Florida State, New Mexico, San Diego State, Gonzaga, Stanford, UNLV, SLU, Colorado
  7. Cip nails it on Gessell. Also why didnt Ipwa continue to press and play zone in the second half?
  8. The Pistons PA guy forever soured me on proactive PA announcing.
  9. I'd say the Euro influx has more to do with me liking blocked shots over getting in position for a charge/block. Flopping makes me really mad.
  10. It's block charge. Basketball is better when people are trying to block shots, not when you're flopping around trying to draw a charge.
  11. Had one that looked just like that in HS tennis. Hammer aspirin, lots if ice and zap it with those electro deals. Better in two weeks.
  12. We should paint the under the basket out of bounds like the raptors. That thing also fools my eyes. http://www.deceptology.com/2012/09/toronto-raptors-basketball-court.html?m=1
  13. It's amazing how much more likable our hoops team is than the football team to me as a fan.
  14. So now Noah is not only the smartest poster, but also the most famous? Bravo, Noah!
  15. Yep, it's moving the wrong way. Opened at UTEP -5 not up to -7.5 some places.
  16. I watched that ugly 21-20 first half. Seeing Standhardinger go wildly into the lane, shoot from his shoulder and get rejected out of bounds really took me back. That said he was much more poised than I remember him here.
  17. I'm seeing UTEP favored by 5.5.
  18. There's no way we should play Creighton twice and there is no way we should celebrate opening a new arena with a few thousand Blue Jay fans.
  19. On the bright side I was born three days later, so pretty even trade-off.
  20. Yeah, Creighton's flat out better than us but wow what an unlikable team. McDermott after the T, Gibbs all around, ugh. You can also definitely tell which school has a soccer team. -Here's hoping McDermott continues his great season and moves up into the first round of the draft so he's gone next year. Currently projecting mid second round. -Loved the feistiness of our transfers/redshirts, lots of chirping from the bench. -Also love the tweet from Hawkins that he's not losing to Creighton.
  21. He also might see that Rick Barnes loves to squander talent and lose to Chaminade.
  22. I think we see Ray's hops and get that confused with handles. He reminds me of a poor homeless man's Ray Allen. I want him spotting up and coming off screens but when he decides to drive turnovers ahoy. Talley has been good at handling the ball and making something happen in the last ten of the shot until last game.
  23. Just for fun would Joshua Smith be eligible in early December 2013?
  24. So weird that the Big 10 is super good at hoops and so bad at football. It's like we joined the Big East.
  25. I'm pretty pumped about the way this team is playing but Thursday and Oregon will be a reality check. USC and Wake might be the two worst BCS conference teams in the nation. I have no idea how Kevin O'Neill is still employed. It is encouraging to see us consistently outperforming the Vegas spread every game.
