Speaking of Pitt transfers, Ryan Murphy (yes, you heard me right, Calabasas Ryan Murphy) is looking for his 4th school in 4 years. So we could finally get him after all these years

Damn, what a sad way to end things. He could've been the best offensive point guard in our history with the right mindset. Hope he figures things out and that his family situation gets settled.

Great point about Palmer, and if anybody watched his G League games this year, they would have seen JPJ finishing at a high clip at the rim, just like he did in college. Hopefully he has a shot at making an NBA roster in the next year or two.

Next year "should" look much better. We add 6 guys with D1, experience, 5 of them at P6 schools. If Cam gets it figured out and Yvan continues to progress, coupled with the other returners' growth, something special could be brewing. -

If we draw the right seeding, mark my words, we make it to Friday in the Big Ten tourney. -
While I have, like many, grown upset at many of our blown opportunities at the rim, I'm willing to give Cam a bit of a pass. If he's here next year, which I pray he is, I believe we'll see a guy finishing at a much better clip. Many times, he has to take a tough finish opportunity over tremendous length in the B1G. And the biggest reason is that teams are able to sag off of so many of our players, and many times not even respect our post players, to the point that his driving lanes are typically not very clear. With better all-around players next year, I think you'll see clearer lanes for him to finish. Now, there have been misses from him that have been head-scratching, especially last night. Hopefully, that goes away as less teams are able to clog the paint in the years to come.

Another tough outing, but similar to Doc's 08-09 squad, I liked our scrapiness and effort. We just don't finish well enough, shoot well enough, or rebound well enough considering our opponents. But you can see the foundation being laid. Nothing but confidence that Hoiberg is the one we've been waiting for!

Pretty sure that if one of our players gets hit below the belt, the BTN announcers will simply say "that was all ball" (see what I did there). Besides Kuegler, I don't know if there's one who isn't a huge homer for every team we play. -

Why are 90% of BTN announcers douchebags? It'd be amazing if they ever had our back on any questionable calls instead if always having our opponents'. -
I don't think Cam will have a problem having to do less next year. It's not like he is shooting 30 times a game. He looks to pass way more than shoot. Hell, I'd like to see him shoot more if anything.

One thing that bugged me, and in the grand scheme of things probably isn't a huge deal, but for as fast as Mack is, I wish he wouldn't slow up on fast breaks. He has done that multiple times this season. It looks like when LeBron has a fast break and the defense doesn't chase. Well in college, most teams aren't gonna allow an easy fast break. Plus guys like LeBron can accelerate much quicker if the D does contest. -
Classy to see Coach Miles showing his support of Kobe and Gigi.

Can't wait for Yvan to get more aggressive. Little things like attempting dunks instead of throwing up fallaway baby hooks that get swatted, not jumping and high-pointing lobs that should be caught by him. So many times, Cam has thrown nice lobs that get stolen because Yvan waits for the ball. Those things should improve dramatically with a year in the room and with college coaching (hopefully). -

I agree with those who liked the defensive game plan. It's why we beat Iowa and Purdue. Wisconsin never shoots it that well. We could've had the same looks, and no way do we shoot that well. I thought for the most part we contested fine. They just happened to hit shots. -
Sek was a stud. Much like Toney McCray, I thought Doc did poorly with him. They were legit ballers with the right coach. And I love Doc, but I didn't care for the way he handled certain players, especially those 2.
