My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed being at the game tonight. Couldn't wipe the smiles off our faces. As bad as we played in the first half Friday, at least we played defense. Creighton just laid an egg on offense, played no defense and looked totally outclassed. It actually made me feel better about our showing on Friday. But the main reason i was smiling was the thought of how it must feel to be a jays fan and realize this was your team of a lifetime and you just watched them get smoked. With what they lose, things look pretty bleak in jayville next year!

In San Antonio after the ISU game a Creighton fan was high fiving the ISU fans and then pulled her hand back when I went to high five her and snootily said "oh, you cheer for Nebraska". Up to that point I was undecided who I was rooting for. Now I'm a Bears fan and it looks like karma is catching up with her. I'm probably going to get punched by a jays fan because every time Baylor scores I'm clapping and laughing. Totally worth staying for this game now. I can't wait for next season!

Sad to see him go but happy for him. It was a matter of time that he got a head coaching gig. Good luck coach!

We bumped into a Baylor fan tonight and he said they were talking in his section about how bad the refs were. Made the game hard to watch even for the winning team. Creighton will struggle to beat Baylor. They gave zero inside presence and are going to get manhandled inside. Creighton better play better than they did today or they will go down hard Sunday.

This honestly represents almost no CU fan that I've ever known. I don't think we can extrapolate from infantile internet yahoos the character of an entire fanbase for any school. So while their boards may react like that, they're not the only ones going to the game. I know a lot of CU fans, and most of them will root for both teams except if and when they play each other. Thy play right after us, so we'll see if we get a little boost from them or if they sit on their hands. I expect mixed results. Totally agree. I have a friend that's a Creighton alum and was bummed at the matchup because he wanted both teams to advance as far as possible.

We found reasonable rates at the Hilton Garden Inn by the airport. Even a 15% discount for booking through Orbitz on their new app. It was under $90 per night and they are nice hotels, your wife will approve!

All I know is I'm glad we will never see that rosy cheeked ass against us again. The shit they let him get away with is pathetic.

It was a disappointing game. We are watching growing pains associated with a team new to dealing with success. I'll take that versus not having success to worry about. I refuse to be upset with anything this team does the rest do the year because they've overachieved so much already. I'm enjoying the ride, whether that's the first round play in game, a second round game or the NIT. It's all awesome compared to the last couple years!

Awesome post! Love the video. I'm in the same boat. I tried all year to stay "grounded" and "realistic" but Miles has made me fully buy into this team! I'm planning to be loud and proud all night on Sunday! The atmosphere is going to be AMAZING!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! To make it even better, it sounds like the weather is going to be nice.
