  3. My answer to the question depends on how much improvement we see from the team from here on out. If they match the amount of improvement we saw last year then we will hit ten wins. If we don't improve from here on out and are still making silly mistakes like the first 15 minutes of Sundays game then we won't. At this point my money is on the ten or more wins. I've seen this team take its lumps and keep learning. They have lots of upside if they can keep learning. Based on that, I see these games as our ten wins. Arkansas State The Citadel @Penn State Minnesota Indiana @Northwestern Illinois Penn State Purdue Northwestern
  4. Agree on the report card. One observation on McDermott, I've never seen an all American be so non-existent on the defensive end of the floor. No fouls and zero defensive presence. Guess he's practicing for the NBA already. He'll of an offensive player but pathetic on defense.
  5. I was at the game with Creighton fans. Even though we didn't see the play well, even they said Gibbs likely started it because that's his M.O.
  6. Huskers 69 Bluebirds 80 God I hope I'm wrong! I'll be there cheering for the Skers!!!
  7. Jimmy you're probably right. Another question, who will HE guard? He's not a good defensive player and rarely gets in foul trouble but with the guys he could have to guard, they are most good at driving to the hole. Would be great if we could get him in foul trouble but it's unlikely because he's not that aggressive on D.
  8. I agree. I think Rivers starts and guards him. He plays solid D and the advantage is that if he gets in foul trouble it doesn't take a big offensive threat off the court like it would if Shields or Petteway guarded him.
  9. Totally agree on Pitchford as POG. I thought he showed more aggressiveness in the paint on both ends of the court. Grabbed a couple nice boards and brought some intensity tonight. Just what we need to see from him!
  10. Agree with everyone else, I listened to the last half hour and you didn't miss anything! Amazing job! Thanks Throwback!
  11. Huskers 73 Canes 65 Bring on them jays! Just can't wait to see their pep squad in their stupid blue and white bibs. Makes Lil Red seem sophisticated!

  13. Totally agree! He also seems to make sure the players are respectful. I liked Doc but the one thing that drove me nuts was how his players acted like the anthem wasn't important. I remember them playing Indiana a couple years ago and Crean made sure his players stood tall and showed respect while ours were slumped over and looking at their shoes. To me it showed a lack of discipline and respect. Thank you for your service!
