In the two years Miles has coached here, the team had significantly improved from the beginning of the season to the end. If that trend continues, this team will be a force come February!

I was at the event and both coaches were hilarious. I was with someone who isn't a husker fan and he said he'd go to the games just to watch Miles. I've seen standup comedy routines that were less entertaining than those two. McDermott went after Miles and his first comment was " now you all know what happens when alcohol meets Tim Miles". Good stuff.

As sad as it may be, reading that old post was the most fun I had all day. Just goes to show the coaches generally have more insight than we do! Thanks for posting huskerbaseball!!!

Saw Deng at the basketball banquet tonight. Definitely looks 6'8". Thin but athletic build. Was sitting next to Coach Harriman all night and looked like he was having fun.

Yep, we had four players make all BIG academics. Also the one year RPI was a perfect 100!

It was a fun night tonight. Was able to get pictures with a couple players and a selfie with my wife and Coach Miles. To top it off, Coach even retweeted our selfie just now. It was awesome!

Last Saturday's dinner consisted of smoked St. Louis style ribs with a dry KC BBQ rub, smoked whole chicken with Bobby Flays 16 spice rub and a smoked moose roast with a dry prime rib rub. Complemented by corn pudding with diced poblano peppers. Gotta love smoked meat and corn! Makes me feel very cave-mannish!

Thanks for running this ASC! It was fun to play through the year! Of course the most fun this year was watching our Huskers come together and make the dance! Even though we lost, it was awesome going down to San Antonio and watching us in the DANCE!!! I'd also like to thank my magic 8 ball for helping with my picks this year...

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed being at the game tonight. Couldn't wipe the smiles off our faces. As bad as we played in the first half Friday, at least we played defense. Creighton just laid an egg on offense, played no defense and looked totally outclassed. It actually made me feel better about our showing on Friday. But the main reason i was smiling was the thought of how it must feel to be a jays fan and realize this was your team of a lifetime and you just watched them get smoked. With what they lose, things look pretty bleak in jayville next year!

In San Antonio after the ISU game a Creighton fan was high fiving the ISU fans and then pulled her hand back when I went to high five her and snootily said "oh, you cheer for Nebraska". Up to that point I was undecided who I was rooting for. Now I'm a Bears fan and it looks like karma is catching up with her. I'm probably going to get punched by a jays fan because every time Baylor scores I'm clapping and laughing. Totally worth staying for this game now. I can't wait for next season!
