  1. I wouldn't mind having them both...
  2. Would it pay off in March?
  3. That game went largely as I expected. This team is pretty good, folks. It’ll be even better when Roby isn’t starting in a production of Phantom of the Opera. - Glynn is playing at an incredible level right now. He was unbelievable to start this game. - I hope you/we/I appreciate this collection of talent on this team. It's not a perfect team and there are still things to work on but if this is our starting point, we could be in for an amazing year. - I loved, loved, loved how the team responded after the Phantom call on Roby. That could have buckled lesser teams. I've seen it take the legs out of NU teams in the past. - This team has a killer instinct. - PBA was great tonight, especially in the second half when things got weird. - Heiman and Borchardt looked fairly effective tonight. Knew where to be, didn't back down. That's all we need from them. - I'm not sure I've ever seen a dunk by a Husker the likes of what I witnessed from Roby tonight. Goodness, gracious! - Why did we have a four minute delay to adjust the clock two seconds? - The officiating tonight was as brutal as I've ever seen. Just obnoxious. - The 3 point shooting probably won't be great this season, but I think it will be effective. They are so good at getting to the line, especially JPJ and our defense should be really good that they can afford to not be elite from deep. - Seton Hall had no answer for JPJ tonight. Je just took over the second half. It was a sight to behold. - I haven't looked at a box score yet, but I thought we rebounded pretty well. - I'm just so freaking excited about what we saw tonight. The ceiling for the team is super high. I can't wait to see what this team becomes.
  4. We might not be favored to win, but clemson lost their 2nd and 3rd scorers of that team. That's 28 points and 11 rebounds.
  5. 3. On the Gavitt Games and this trip: “When we did our schedule, the only game we didn’t control was this game. I never would have brought this team here -- never in a million years. I don’t know why the Big East sent us out here. I do know they don’t like me (laughs). It’s pretty safe to say I’m never going to another league meeting again.” (note: that last comment was delivered in typical dry Willard style---half joking, half honesty). https://www.app.com/story/sports/college/2018/11/14/seton-hall-nebraska-basketball-gavitt-games/2000986002/

  7. Interesting. They played a charity exhibition, then a regular season game then an exhibition.
  8. Glynn has a very real shot at finishing as a top 10 scorer in school history. He's almost certain to get to #13, but there's a huge jump from 13 to 12. He'd have to have a huge season and probably a bunch of post season games to get to top 10, but it's within his reach. He'd need to average 16 ppg in the known 32 games we'll have. More games lowers that ppg threshold, of course. He's currently averaging 17.5 ppg, small sample size, I know...
  9. We finally got our first episode of Season 2 up. We recorded this before the SE LA game. We talked about or expectations, made some predictions, we had a good 'ole time! We also got a producer, so we sound the best we've ever sounded!
  10. Dominating win over an inferior opponent. It seems like this is the kind of thing other teams and NU never could. I’m looking forward to seeing them go up against a more competitive team on Wednesday. I was in and out of his one as my stream was a little goofy, so my thoughts are a little all over the place at the moment. Y’all go ahead and get started.

  12. Didn't Shavon do that on No Sit Sunday? Might not have been a 3, but I think he banked in a shot from behind the backboard.
  13. Interesting you mention Jason Dourisseau. He was never a good 3 point shooter at NU. But as a pro, he's become at least acceptable. He struggled his first couple seasons in the pro ranks, took a couple years off (injury? IDK) in 2008-09 and 2009-10, but returned for the 2010-11 season and hit from .426 in just 6 games. He played the next year for a full season and hit from behind the arc at a .309 rate. He's only had one season below .325 since then and is currently shooting as well as he ever has at .389. So, if a player's willing to put in the work, it's definitely possible to improve as a shooter as you get older.
  14. A little surprised SDSU didn't try to showcase Daum a little more. They have a trip to Memphis and Nevada, but that's about it. Not sure if Colorado St. is any good. They have a potential match-up with them in a tournament in Florida. There's a real shot they could go undefeated.
  15. Wingett - 12 mins, 2 pts Daum - 39 mins, 20 pts Thurman - 21 mins, 5 pts, 9 reb
  16. Said he actually meant two walkons from the same high school in the state. So, that doesn't include Dourisseau and Enright. Not sure if there are any other combos like that in program history.
  17. Full disclosure, I wasn't able to go tonight. I'll watch it soon, but I'm assuming it's over, or just about by now, so y'all can discuss it here. I'll add my thoughts later.

  19. 26-10 (13-7) 5th place finish, 2-1 in B1G Tourney 1-1 in NCAA Tournament
  20. Unlocking the Vault records tomorrow. I'll post a link when it's done.
  21. He's not a post, but I wonder if we go after Anthony Oliver III?
  22. I think it will be a great place to watch a game.
