  1. Yeah, well, nobody's perfect... ?
  2. This is the first one I can find on this board: This was Miles's debut. If that was the 5th year, that means they started in the 2008-09 season. Crazy.
  3. I did some research, last year or maybe the year before, and that's what the info said. I was surprised it'd been that long, too. Not sure what that says about me, but I like doing them. I should go back and see if I can find the first one. Not sure if we still have access to the old board to find out that info.
  4. I didn't get to see much of the game, so I won't make many comments. Good news: - Everyone stayed healthy - 3 pt% doesn't count Bad news: - neither does the free throw % Now, let's get this thing going for real!
  5. I may or may not be around for a chatter tonight. Those will start in earnest next week vs. MVSU.
  6. Has Coach Miles or anyone made any comments about Chan transferring at all?
  7. It has more to do with Chan than it does Vucetic.
  8. I wouldn't. I'd take Vucetic in a heartbeat if I had to choose a deep bench player that was never gonna see the floor.
  9. I like this one. I might consider Jr. year Leslee Smith, too.
  10. I'm expecting by the the conference play gets here (not those two games in Dec, but when it comes for real in Jan.), we'll see effectively an 8 man rotation.
  11. That's how I took it. Yes, I think 15-18 combined is too much. 8-12 is probably where I'd put the range.
  12. Is it clear? I think that's a high amount for them on most nights, especially vs. high major opponents, unless they're a lot more developed than I'm aware of. Brady will get there eventually, I think, but probably not this year. I think how Tanner was used last hear is very similar to how he'll be used this year. I think they both could see similar usage numbers this year, but the 15-18 number seems pretty lofty to me as things stand right now.
  13. This isn't quite what I had in mind when I said I didn't have any expectations for Chan...
  14. So much for that...
  15. If Miles keeps recruiting that spot well, like I think he has been, I don't have much hope for that. It'd be a great story if it happens, but personally, I'd be stunned if he finds a regular contributing role at any point in his career.
  16. He might get one. He's probably not gonna get several.
  17. I haven't seen him play yet, but is this kind of like Tai early in his career? I remember when TW would get to the rim the first couple years and struggle to finish or get overwhelmed by experienced defenders. By the time he finished his time here, he had learned to get to the rim and finish in the middle of all that traffic. I wonder if we might see a similar progression from Amir.
  18. There's only one scenario I see Costello getting time. Well, two, but we don't want to go down that road.
  19. At least to start the year.
  20. Well...Dourisseau and Enright still fit that bill.
  21. Also, Christian Standhardinger and Christopher Niemann went to the same school in Germany. I think they were there at the same time...
  22. (Jason Dourisseau and Roy Enright were on the same high school team...)
  23. #25: Nebrasketball
