  1. I mean, if you can get a kid with NBA pedigree to walk on, that's a pretty good deal.
  2. Lol. That's fair.
  3. I gotcha. I think the term is a bit more ubiquitous than that. It's used by radio hosts, beat writers, national pundits and I've seen it splashed on the ribbon boards at PBA.
  4. #Nebrasketball is used by the lunatic fringe?
  5. I'm just sick. This year was supposed to be different. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel right now. They played much better tonight than they did vs. Rutgers and Ohio St. But they just didn't have enough tonight. I don't know what else to say...I'm just sick at how this has all gone down. They don't resemble the team that looked so good just a month ago...
  6. If we're picking someone from the current staff (which won't be happening...) Michael Lewis is the guy.
  7. I think the last two paragraphs are where the programs differ. If this had been written before PBA, it'd have been eerily similar...
  8. From where I was sitting, it didn't look like it.
  9. It was essentially a defensive flop.
  10. Also, there was a jump ball call that should have been a travel right before the half. NU kept the ball, but instead of getting the ball out of the break, Wisconsin did. I believe they missed a shot, so it may not have mattered, but at the time, when NU was trying to claw back, that could have been a pretty significant hidden swing.
  11. No, it was his fourth while Borchardt was going for a rebound. Davison boxed him out and essentially slumped down while "falling" backwards. The one he fouled out on would have been an easy charge call if he'd been outside the arc.
  12. I actually tweeted about it both times. ?
  13. They've played it at least the past two games.
  14. I don't really have the energy to hammer anyone right now. Wisconsin is a really good defensive team. I think I'd rather credit them than hammer the coaches or players at the moment.
  15. #24 Wisconsin 62 - Nebraska 51 Huskers struggle offensively in their first game without Copeland I'm just sick. This year was supposed to be different. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel right now. They played much better tonight than they did vs. Rutgers and Ohio St. But they just didn't have enough tonight. 16. It was definitely quiet. It looked pretty full from where I was sitting, though.
  17. It's always settled until it's not.
  18. This one is deflating. I hope Copeland's knee isn't serious. That's all I have energy for right now...
  19. If. If if if if, that happens, and I'm not presuming that yet, you open up the checkbook and see who's interested. I think you'll be able to do better than an up and comer. Also, I hate this conversation...just in general, I don't begrudge anyone for having it...
  20. I've never not posted for that reason. A few times I've been traveling or had other obligations that kept me from doing it, but not just because I didn't feel like it...
  21. This one is deflating. I hope Copeland's knee isn't serious. That's all I have energy for right now...
  22. No two ways about it. This was a bad loss.
