  1. Looks like two separate events to me.
  2. Looks like the offer was committable.
  3. I'm just a terrible trash talker. It never goes well for me.
  4. I'm not gonna glory in CU being implicated in something like this. That's the point where something embarrassing or nefarious comes out about one of the teams I cheer for.
  5. Correct.
  6. Largely. I've got some connections, too, and the absence of mention of him confirms what I've heard. That could change, of course, and if it does, that'd be great!
  7. I'm not commenting on the next 3 years. I'm commenting on this year. He may very well develop into a player that can contribute, but my experience has been that players that get discussed publicly usually are the ones that get on the court. I haven't heard a peep about Chan from Miles. Until that changes, and it very well could, I'm not projecting him to be a major factor this year.
  8. That makes sense.
  9. Not sure about that. I think you'll see a lot of creative things happening here.
  10. Harris, Heiman and Nana are really the only ones I've heard the coaches mention. I wouldn't bank too much on Chan, Borchardt or Davis to contribute too much.
  11. Also looks like the games they're playing have a lot more possessions than the games he'll be playing here. I'm not overly concerned about that. He only had 3 other games where he picked up 4 fouls. Roby's played with a lot more foul trouble than that in his time here and is doing just fine.
  12. When I read through the things Miles says and the things written about this team, Thor and Chan don't come up almost at all. The only times Davis comes up is in terms of his health. Nana, Amir, Allen and a little bit of Heiman get brought up. I'd expect those 4 along with the big 4 to see the bulk of the minutes. Who gets talked about in and by the coaches and media are often big indicators of who we'll see on the court. Until I start hearing more about those other guys, I'm probably not gonna project them in the rotation.
  13. I must have missed that. Point remains that we'll just have to see how it plays out. I don't necessarily think anythings fully determined at this point.
  14. If that's the case, sign me up.
  15. Miles said he never told Heinman he planned to redshirt him. Said they'd see how the start of the season goes first and if he's not playing come mid-late November, they can revisit. I don't think anything has been officially determined here. We'll just have to see how it plays out.
  16. Green was 43% and 55% from 3 his Jr. and Sr. year of high school. What were Thomas Allen's stats from high school? We haven't had many guys who shot that well in high school come into the program, I think. Hopefully he gets closer to those numbers his soph. year.
  17. Was this the kid Bobby Hurley was in to watch the other day?
  18. Hopefully none!
  19. From the Journal-Star.
  20. No, I just went back through the home games and looked at the photo galleries and did a quick mental tally.
  21. They actually only wore those two or three times last year. They wore the "ice" unis just as much. They wore the NIT throwbacks more often than the "Husker" script. They wore the black unis at home a couple times, too. The base white's they wore the most, but most of it was in the first half of the season. The Ice, NIT and black were the main options worn once conference play started.
  22. Says new home threads, so would take that to mean it will replace the base home white unis. I would assume they have alternates in the hopper, too.
  23. If it's this simple, then yeah, we'd have to be the favorite. But if NU is in on Markese Jacobs, and I have no idea if they are other than we did offer him, and they think they can get him, then we'll probably have to wait and see how that plays out before we get any resolution with MAW.
  24. If that happens, I'm all in.
