  1. Clocks in at #37 on The Ringer's latest guide https://nbadraft.theringer.com/?_ga=2.33133502.123326188.1559575172-779530561.1494683018
  2. He was 100% gone when Hoiberg was hired so actually getting to know Hoiberg definitely would make it harder to leave. I doubt that sentiment and familiarity would have been enough to keep him here; I know for a fact that the promise of the Hoiberg system wasn't enough because he is no longer here.
  3. He's a guy you root for once you know his back story https://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/college/ct-spt-illinois-giorgi-bezhanishvili-mother-dancing-20181226-story.html
  4. It was probably a tougher decision than when he didn't know Hoiberg at all and disliked that Miles was fired. I'd say the sentiment and loyalty still made it more likely that he comes back to play for Miles but we're arguing about getting hit by lightning vs winning the powerball odds here.
  5. Assuming it will be 17 regular season + 1 exhibition = 18

  7. If one is looking for a new B1G coach to lambaste about developing shooting might I suggest checking out the Wildcats' numbers. The ranking system is objective but the player rankings are subjective. Known commodities matter. Illinois for instance brings back almost everyone plus a 4 star center.
  8. Current Bartovik overall rankings for B1G teams 1 Michigan St. 4 Purdue 11 Maryland 17 Ohio St. 19 Illinois 20 Wisconsin 21 Penn St. 33 Michigan 46 Iowa 51 Rutgers 58 Indiana 71 Nebraska 74 Minnesota 150 Northwestern
  9. Isn't Cheatham more valuable closing games than starting them?
  10. Look it up and that wasn't it. We played Toledo on the road as well that year.
  11. Turns out Romeo Langford was playing with a torn thumb ligament most of the season
  12. In the past the mindset under Miles was 'whoever you can guard is what you are' The mindset with Hoiberg will be more 'you have to guard who we roll out there' So if you're Penn St and you're rolling out Lamar Stevens and Mike Watkins one of them has to guard Cheatham on the perimeter and then we just hope we score more points out there than they do inside. I'd assume that in a lot of games we'll mitigate the damage from bigger players by either zoning or playing a pack line defense. When we play against teams with post players quick enough to hang with the undersized 4s we will roll out it's probably going to end up with us losing.
  13. Besides DePaul he also has an offer from Rhode Island. It's probable he has interest from mid-major schools but doesn't care to publicly acknowledge it. He very well might end up being a great college player or even a pro but right now from his offers he looks like a high-midmajor/low Power 5 guard who just happens to be the son of a NBA legend. I think the scout on him is that he has handles but can't shoot from outside? Doesn't sound like the type of guy we are interested in recruiting these days.
  14. We basically traded MAW to Cincy for Curtis
  15. He's going pro the same way that McVeigh did
  16. Approximately how many who will we sign in 2020 threads do you plan on starting between now and 2020?
  17. Have to think someone has done 0% before.
  18. At least to start is Curtis the backup point to Mack? If Drago does end up as our starting center I could see Mack Burke Green Cheatham Ouedraogo
  19. Try now. It should be good to go https://huskerhoopscentral.com/scholarship-grid/
  20. I just read through his twitter time line which was a long line of positives. I wouldn't dwell on wherever you're reading this stuff
  21. Re-read the last two pages
  22. He can't come back. He's officially, officially gone at midnight tonight when the deadline to return to school passes.
  23. You found it. It's more of a NCAA/NBA agreement to keep guys from just jumping to the NBA whenever.
