There is really no point in ever just taking a side and sticking to it no matter what. I've been as hard on Moos as anyone but at any point he could have pulled the plug on Miles. That hasn't happened. That's a stand up thing to do and the type of thing you would expect from the leadership at Nebraska. Nothing is ever truly black and white.

We're saying a lot of the same things here. The point about worrying about the department trying to figure out how to squeeze more wins out of Miles is why do we think they're going to do that if it's Hoiberg or anyone else. In the future we should be happy to make the Sweet 16 even though the right/better leadership inside might have meant Eilte 8?

Game Day Essentials: Game #35 vs Butler

{Morgan Freeman Voice} They did not and he was -
You're contention is that the "national media" will be hammering Nebraska tomorrow for drawing 10k to a NIT game during the first full day of March Madness? That somehow the program will be raked over the coals for potentially making a coaching change like a lot of other programs do? My man. Tim Miles most likely will be fired the day after our season ends. It would appear we have our next coach lined up. You seem to be getting exactly what you want. Why after this are you still actively rooting for out team to lose? The players can pound sand so you, not them, can feel better? We're all "fan boys" for doing such dumb things as 'wanting the team to win' as opposed to the 37 dimension chess game you think you're playing? At what point does needing to be right outweigh anything else?

This is right up there with Moos flying to the West Coast to negotiate with a guy who was already in Chicago

At the end of the day if/when he cross the finish line it would not surprise me if Hoiberg insisted that Miles gets to finish out the season

Nebraska 70 - Butler 63 1 win -
Butler Info Head Coach: LaVall Jordan Location: Indianapolis, IN Conference: B1G Nickname: Bulldogs Mascot: Butler Blue III Last time out: Lost to Providence Typical Rotation Depth: 7+ Line: Nebraska by 5 Tempo: Slow Style: 3 ball Player to watch: Kamar Baldwin The Junior combo guard is Bulter's go-to guy though he doesn't maintain a high efficiency level with that load due to his low 3pt%. Noted elite defender. KenPom Helps to break down the lineup PG SG SF PF C Pct 1 2 Aaron Thompson 6-2 185 So 3 Kamar Baldwin 6-1 195 Jr 5 Paul Jorgensen 6-2 185 Sr 22 Sean McDermott 6-6 195 Jr 51 Nate Fowler 6-10 240 Sr 11.8 The starting lineup for Wisconsin contains two guys who haven't made a 3 this year. Jorgensen splits his shots between the 2 and 3. Good 3pt shooter, not great mid-range game McDermott is a 3pt specialist PG Thompson doesn't shoot much and most of his offense comes driving the lane Fowler has a potential to be a matchup problem for Tanner as he will take and make 3s 6'11" Traditional center Joey Brunk will also be a challenge for Tanner as he draws a lot of fouls down low The Skinny: If you haven't heard Brady Heiman is also out for this game so the Nebraska roster now consists of 5 scholarship and 2 walkon players. In a lot of ways Butler is an ideal team to face as they play 3 guards, don't foul a lot, don't play at a high tempo and don't have an elite defense. Butler runs a 3pt shooting team and Nebraska runs a 3pt stopping defense. Offensively their center matchups might give up trouble but defensively they really have no answer for Isaiah Roby who has no choice but to be an offensive force. Motivation is always a factor for any team in the NIT but expect both teams to be ready to go, especially Nebraska who will be fueled by what is expected to be a large crowd and a chip on their shoulder. Expect Nebraska to extend their season tonight Prediction: Nebraska 70 - Butler 63

Good question. I'll ask.

I don't think we're selling 300 level tickets and probably wont have the demand to do so. All the "club" are sold out...i'm not sure which seats those are. Just from looks of things trying to buy different amounts of tickets in the 100 and 200 level I'd say the 100 level is mostly full and the 200 level is around half full. This is 6-8k tickets?
-
Uh...how much are student season tickets? $15 seems high here but maybe student season tickets are $500 It's certainly odd that student tickets are more than 200 level tickets.

This is in the NIT thread I think. Miles talked about this in his presser

Yes, it's "good" Brady injured his back. You're opening hoping for people on our team to be injured so we can't play. You come on here like they are supposed to just lay down and quit for your benefit. They want to play; they've earned the right. You want those kids not to play? Get the AD to grow a set and take it from them. Until then, our team is on the court.

If Kansas even gets a slap on the wrist I'd be surprised.
