  1. We signed 2-3 guys in the lag in took for the Jays to offer Coleman
  2. Thorir will be playing the in the Small State Games of Europe so he could be late. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_Games_of_the_Small_States_of_Europe
  3. I'd like to think between Hoiberg, Doc, and Lutz that we will figure this out but just assuming we're going to be good because we got a brand new team doesn't mean everyone and everything is going to gel together. I can very easily make the argument that Indiana's roster last year was more talented than the one we are going to roll out and that thing was an absolute mess that pulled it together for an NIT bid. Those Hoiberg plays don't work so well if guys are injured or fighting over the same girl in January.
  4. Here is my Abdelmassih grade
  5. It's basically how they put it together and we're in the same boat but we don't have a roster full of NBA players. Thus, I'd say we have the talent to make (and even win a tourney game next year) and we also have the volatility to be sub-.500 if we can't figure out how to put all the pieces together.
  6. Kentucky every season (with more talent)
  7. Xavier Johnson compares pretty well to Curtis and Dachon Burke is probably a higher level profile transfer than Walker. Matt A hasn't necessarily pulled guys that are higher rated than what Miles did....the truly impressive part is the speed at which it occurred. If you surmise that the longer you are at a school and able to start relationships with kids when they're 15,16, the better you get you can come to the conclusion that Hoiberg's staff's floor in recruiting is around the same level as Miles' ceiling.
  8. It's possible but they've added them all to Huskers.com
  9. FWIW Barnes was surprised he was transferring so this wasn't some deal where they Tennessee wanted him to leave so they could pull in someone else.
  10. That was probably part of it. Walker most likely drove in. Curtis was some ninja level stuff. Some of it probably depended on Roby and you have to assume that he has informed them he will not be coming back. I'd bet his individual workouts went really well with a team.
  11. I"m holding out until the next poll where the only options are levels of A
  12. Previously Curtis was an Xavier commit and to Chris Mack (who left) and then to Cincinnati to Mick Cronin (who left)
  13. The list of Mr. Ohio's is impressive. Also, someone has updated Curtis to reflect his commitment to Nebraska https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohio_Mr._Basketball
  14. Our roster reminds me of having a fantasy football draft where you get all your guys and but when you go to put together your week 1 starters you think "oh crap"
  15. NOTHING HERE IS AGING WELL ?
  16. If he can rebound, defend the paint, and run the court that's all we really need
  17. https://www.rumbleinthegarden.com/2017/2/3/14500152/recruiting-basketball-derrick-walker-chooses-tennessee-over-st-johns Matt A lost out on Walker in 2017. Walker entered the transfer portal on May 1st, btw
  18. Woof I am out of sorts
  19. I did a search. The name "Derrick Walker" never appeared on this board until today. A bit surprised that we didn't offer the KC native but perhaps it's because he committed so early. (Feb of 2017)
  20. His signing was on the Little Rock local news
