Statement from Coach Tim Miles: “Thank you to the University of Nebraska for a remarkable journey. It was a great honor to represent this University the past seven years. I am extremely proud of what we were able to accomplish during my tenure, most notably developing relationships with so many fantastic people associated with the Huskers. “A special thank you and deep gratitude to our players and parents who have been with us and supported us over the years. Not that anyone is saying this but If you say out loud 'Bounds waited until Nebraska basketball lost to end its season to announce this thing that impacts 4 campuses and his life' doesn't that sound pretty dumb?

If there is a pattern here, it's that Moos hasn't ever fired someone who slept in a hotel the night before.

J.B. Milligan was for the longest time though after looking it up there was an interim president in between (Dr James Linder). I didn't remember L. Dennis Smith who was president the entire time I was in school.

The team was back as scheduled so Miles has been around since 12:30 or so today.
