Is this in regard to Palmer or Allen? By all accounts, Allen's jumper from deep was supposed to be a big part of his game.

Only got to see the first half.....Watson/Palmer JR looked very good. Jordy/Duby looked like a load down low as well. Copeland and Roby were struggling a bit...I imagine we will get much more from them here on out. Shocked me that we were shooting so many threes but they were going in. Overall I was impressed with what I saw in the first half....my one concern is Thomas Allen only getting 5 minutes. It's only one game, but I think we all figured he would get some minutes.

I hope you're right. 7-5 sounds like best case right now. We will likely get destroyed this Saturday and the remaining games are essentially a toss up.

I hope he's right. A lot of new pieces that will need to gel but pieces that could turn out to be good. We need guys like Jordy and Roby to talk that sophomore jump. More than anything, we need to start protecting the Vault again.

I honestly don't remember that far back. Grobe was Obsorne's number #1 choice wasn't he? Atleast, that was the rumor and Grobe more or less confirmed that. If we did hire a search firm I'm not sure if he was their recommendation.

We are hiring a search firm for the AD search...if Alberts was a foregone conclusion I doubt they would be doing that.

Oh I agree, but with the early signing period...could it have waited? Or, would we have cut the recruits loose regardless? I'm not sure. I don't think this puts a final nail in Riley's coffin but it obviously turns up the heat as high as it can go.

His job status was always tied with Riley. After the start of this year, he was a sitting duck. Not sure I agree with firing him right now unless we have a replacement lined up. Really worried the recruiting will now tank.

Is this good or bad for Tim Miles? I guess I can see it both ways.

That was about as bad of a performance out of the line that I can remember at Nebraska. I would have said Riley needs 5 years to get his own players in here but unfortunately I think its becoming painfully obvious it's not going to matter one way or the other. Cut bait with Riley this year or next(2018 will be a blood bath with that schedule) and get Frost in here and hope he's the savior.

Huge news on Copeland. We have all the pieces in place to make a run IMO. Hopefully Thomas can be that three pt threat even as a freshmean....Roby make the big jump from Freshman to Soph year.

I follow him on twitter...he's a good follow as most of his post are sports related. He is a bit of a Husker basketball homer....not saying that there is anything wrong with that. I would not put much stock into the article. The author likely knows about as much as we do in regards to Thor. The author probably posts on this board considering he is a Husker basketball fan....and one that is not usually shy in drinking the Kool-Aid.

I think that's directly related to the hype Tanner Lee is getting. After seeing him in the spring game and the chatter coming out of fall camp I have really high expectations for him. With that said, who knows until the bullets start flying.

Welcome Brady. We can always use size...hopefully we can bulk him up in the next couple years and turn him into a regular contributor.

Small sample size(7 games) but he shot 28%(21/73) from the field and 14%(4/28) from 3PT in the U20 European Championship. Did better the previous year at the U18 event scoring 19PPG shooting 38% from the field and 30% from 3PT. Worst case he transfers out after the year if it doesn't work out...would much rather have the body than not using the scholarship.

Read it again. I said if this year turns out like the previous three. I'm not anticipating anything. I have no idea what to expect with this team. If Copeland is out for the non con, having 10 eligible scholarship players with two being true freshman is not ideal but not something that has to cripple the team if we can get solid minutes out of someone like Akenten.
