Not if you watched his defense. Lost his guy, gave up a 3. That's why he was benched. He's far form the only guy that did that, but he did do it. Also, with Rivers playing so well, it was hard to get him minutes. -

I'll go positive, what the heck. David Rivers' resilience is amazing. So many times the past 2 years I have given up on his career, and then he comes back with some great games. As Miles said in his postgame show, David always comes back strong after serving as an assistant coach for awhile. Also, it was good to see Tarin make some shots. OK, back to the misery. -

Wow; thanks for the scoop, Cyinne. Let's hope it is a productive trip!

And I can't imagine how they could have been prepared for what Tee did defensively. Her hounding of the Minnesota point guards was just a thing of beauty. Any young player would be well-served to watch film of that game, and just focus on Tee's defense. Tee ended the game with zero fouls, despite aggressively defending the point all night. One of the best defensive efforts I have ever witnessed.

Coach basically hates to talk about recruiting. So she answered a recruiting and post question by only talking about Jess. Didn't use it to mention Darrien as someone who could help with size next year. And didn't broaden it by talking about future efforts to recruit more and bigger posts. Didn't mention Blackburn. It was sort of a strange response to the question. I was glad to hear Shimmy was out recruiting; I figured that was why she wasn't at the game. Hopefully it was someone who would be eligible in '15-'16.

That's funny stuff, 49r, but K-State Fan is still a D-bag. Big-time.

Probably not. But it sounds like he does read the comments posted under published articles. I thought he said he only reads the articles and not the comments. Maybe I went Andy Pettitte and misremembered or misheard, but I have to go with that as I don't want to wade back through the presser.

Yeah, I mean, if you hadn't already noticed the markers from ... getting down by double digits in the first half at home against UNO losing at home to Creighton by 10 losing at home to a team transitioning to D1 in Incarnate Word losing pathetically to a not very good Hawaii team laying an egg and getting owned inside at home against Indiana Yeah, I mean, if you happened not to notice all those other markers, then the Michigan game was certainly a sign that, gosh, perhaps something was amiss with the team this season. Hey Norm, You missed being behind at halftime to Southwest Minnesota State.

Actually, you specifically said you would dump Bennie in a heartbeat. We're not a good team this year, but for the most part, our effort and attitude has been just fine. These guys represent our program well. Never in trouble, lots of volunteer time, great stuff for Avery. These are good guys, and you are a cheap shot artist. Speaking of cheap shot artists.......geez, that is pretty harsh. Discussion of ways to improve the talent level of a struggling team by a passionate fan base on a basketball messageboard is pretty normal I think. No, 316 took it to the personal level, not the talent level. Saying our guys don't represent the program well goes to an entire different place. Obviously, Miles said the same thing with regard to one game, but I am very confident he would say that this was the exception. And watching the team all year, you can tell they care, they try. We may not win enough to suit some folks, but to talk about dumping a senior who has done everything right here and represented us well, and saying our guys effort and attitude sucks, takes it to a different, personal level. When that happens I will defend their character. -
I will miss these seniors. Great effort for all 4 years. Great to see Brandy put it together this year. It will take a while to overcome the loss of this group, despite the incoming talent.

What a game! One of the best efforts ever. Great job by the coaches and players. Did not think we were capable of blowing out a good team. Just to hard for us to score previously. Coaches had us ready. Players executed. Great passing! Everyone played well. Just a joy to watch this team tonight. I called the Zowee B star treatment before the game. She had about 8 fouls early but one officially. Emily flat out stuffed her in the second half, clearly all ball, and they called the worthless anticipation call (plus star treatment). Well, screw them, we destroyed them anyway.

March 15 in PBA, 49r! HB will be there. Brings back memories of the great Seger concert in Civic Auditorium in '78. That's Alto Reed on the saxophone. March 15th will be my first venture into the PBA. We're bringing a party bus from Conlee's. Mrs. cip and I saw Seger when he was at the Qwest Center a couple, three years ago. Still kicks ass! (HB, can't believe you 3rd personed this. ) I will look for you guys, Cip. I already started priming for this one. (I'm about as old as Bob Dole, so I might as well third-person like him....)

Sucks; But Iowa ... Blows! Is that why Council Bluffs is so windy? That and the flatulent hookers who hang out on Broadway. Speaking from experience there, Normie?
-
Pre "star status". I just hope if she woofs like she does after blocking a shot, our fans let her know to take that chatter out of our house.

It will be hard to get AZB in foul trouble. She has now reached star status, and the refs will try to keep her on the floor. Hope I'm wrong, but she's going to have to really be undisciplined or commit hard, obvious fouls to have extended bench time. If we can somehow get an early one, it might affect how aggressively she can play. And if she gets hers, we'll then need cold shooting nights from Kelly, Mullaney, and Wagner.

FWIW, he mentioned it again tonight on his show. But it doesn't mean people will get booted off. Some could leave of their own accord. Or he could be looking at 2017 players. Lots of possibilities.

Oh, yeah. Like that scene from Pulp Fiction ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpMxpzfSRUA I suppose they could show that for the pregame pump-up video, huh Norm? Oughta have them ready to go....

Yep, this is not on Molinari.

My understanding is that Rachel is a natural post player. Sample was a wing (2/3) until this year; she was never expected to be a post player. But perhaps I'm wrong about Rachel.
