It's conference tournament time! Just to help get you more excited (if that's possible) for the Big Ten Tourney this weekend, lets revisit 20 years ago, when Nebraska made its magical run in the Big 8 Tournament.

It can become a "here we go again" mentality, even though these players had absolutely nothing to do with our past woes. We fans can't help but think it, but these players shouldn't have these thoughts in their head.

I think I agree jimmy. But we've exorcised a 15 year demon to be sure. I did really find it interesting when Chubick made the statement that he wouldn't trade a first round win in the NCAA Tourney for winning the Big 8 Tourney in '94. Two wins, probably. I almost think I agree with that as well.

It's kind of like "first-world" basketball problems! Just wait until season ticket prices go up Gone are the days (hopefully forever) of waking up to the Devaney with my four boys 5 minutes before tipoff and buying tickets at the booth for $25 total because there were still plenty of seats available. Heck, half the time scalpers would just give their tickets for free.

I just hope my son, whose all of 4 foot nothing, can find a gap he can peek through.
