  1. Am I okay with 6-12? I had hoped for a little better at the start of the season, but I really had nothing to base that hope/expectation on. Even though all evidence suggested we had upgraded our talent, I had no idea how our team would perform. I've had to adjust my expectations slightly since the start of the season, but at least I now have some hard evidence to base it off of. Will we make the "jump" next year? Honestly, while I think experience helps, I still don't see that we have the necessary talent to get us to the upper half of the league. We need to bring in even better players than what we have so far. We lose one player to graduation, and we have (correct me if I'm wrong) a scholarship available. We've picked up Jacob Hammond, and we might have another transfer. If Hammond can come in and be a difference maker next year, and if we can pick up maybe one more, then possibly, but I don't really see it happening next year either. So, 2015? Pinder will be here, and Petteway will be an experienced senior. Webster should be a lot better by then, and hopefully Pitch, Hammond and Shields will be a lot more consistent. Of course we'll have lost Biggs and Smith, and that hurts, but I'm really hoping we'll get a couple solid recruits to replace them. Maybe top 150's? 2015 is when I really hope (expect) it happens for us.
  2. Then none after that. I'm not even sure he attempted a 3 in the second half. We need him to keep shooting.
  3. Disappointed that we lost? Yes, but it was not unexpected. Disappointed that we didn't put up more of a fight in the 2nd half and got our asses handed to us by 30? Absolutely.
  4. Our offense this year does not seem to be suited to Gallegos.
  5. CMON REFS!! HOW CAN YOU CALL THAT ON CRAFT??????
  6. I'll continue to hate Craft after he leaves....just because.
  7. Miles put in Hawkins and Rivers at the end to keep starters out of foul trouble I think. But unfortunately our offense suffered.
  8. Oh baby, c'mon Ray. Keep 'em coming.
  9. I would say that In the Iowa game, it seemed to me that teammates weren't really looking for him. Our guards weren't looking to kick it back out on the drive all that much. And I can think of one time in particular when Pitchford got the ball on the shoulder with a defender approaching, and Gallegos was wide open on the wing. One extra pass would have gotten it to him, but Pitch put up a contested 3 which missed. Now, was Gallegos not doing enough to get himself open? Did TM try to run any designed plays to get him open? I don't know.
  10. Pitchford's set shot seems to be better than his jumper. When he's set and steps into this shot it's more accurate than his pull up jumper, which looks awkward, and usually results in a brick.
  11. You'd waste your 3 questions on one of the last guys on the bench? Well, it'd still be better than "what's your favorite Christmas cookie?"
  12. If I were to ask Miles three question right now, it would be the following: 1) Why has Sergej Vucetic not seen virtually any minutes in any games this year or last? 2) How do you see him fitting in with our program over the next two years? 3) If Sergej is simply not good enough, would you categorize his recruitment as a failure in talent evaluation, or is it a case of him not living up to his potential?
  13. I would love to see Biggs lock down Aaron Craft on Saturday and rob him like a Brazilian street urchin.
  14. 10 points. I think that was the spread wasn't it?
  15. I was going to say those Iowa students need to give the "air ball" chant a rest, but I say keep it going. I think it's really motivating Biggs.
