I created an account on Monday but when i tried to make my picks last night I was too late. So now my entry has all red brackets indicating incorrect picks. So do you get anything for having every single pick wrong?

Over the years I've visited many opponents forums. I haven't seen a better fan site than this, in terms of how it is put together and how it is run. And as to the behavior of the members on this board there just is no comparison to the kindness and class exhibited here. I can't say I've noticed an uptick in negativity lately, but you're probably right. We're still miles ahead of the behavior on most other boards. To wit, there is almost no profanity, most people do a good job policing them selves I think. Nobody's avatar is a porn picture, and I just don't usually see verbal abuse or name calling. I think we can be proud, and I also commend the monitors for keeping this site a class above the rest.

No offense to Norm, but I think his question is a losing attitude. I've watched us for most of my life, and I finally feel like we're good enough, and have a good enough coach. I think looking for silver linings is something that we have made ourselves do over the past decade plus. We shouldn't be accepting, which you are by talking about silver linings, I played my share of big games in high school, my coaches never talked about silver linings. You are either a winner or a loser in basketball. I think we're winners, but I think this kind of attitude from fans makes it easier to accept losing.
