Don't think so

I heard from a pretty reliable source that he going to announce his commitment this afternoon to Nebraska!!!
-
I've been to this event many times but missed this year. They really need to change the agenda of activities if they want fans to come to it. Just watching the men run drills is not very exciting. As much as I hate missing anything with NU basketball, I must say, I don't mind missing this event. I just leave bored every time.

Where did you get that he has committed? All he has done is set up a visit.

Isn't the limit 4 tickets per account?

Supportive and showing up is not the same thing as a good atmosphere with alot of energy and being loud. I would agree that the NU basketball crowds at PBA are not that great overall. I watch other college basketball games and see the large student section behind the basket going crazy and we just don't have that same energy for the vast majority of games.

In case you need it, NU basketball parking passes went on sale at 9am this morning. The red garage sold out in about 3 minutes but still plenty of spots left in the green and blue garages.

USC & UCLA TO JOIN BIG TEN (beginning 2024)!

ACC has decided not to ad Oregon State and Washington State. -
Or how about respecting Wisconsin for getting over 18,000 to a volleyball game as that is a pretty major accomplishment as well.

I was there and it was one of the two best events I've ever been to in this state. The other one being No Sit Sunday. There is no question that very few places could have pulled this off. One think I've learned about Nebraska fans is they like to pat themselves on the back and self proclaim themselves the best fans in the country. In certain categories, that is true. As far as being loyal, I don't think there is any question that NU fans are at the top. This event became more than just wanting to attend a volleyball game. NU fans like a challenge and when this started getting marketed as breaking the world record so you knew people would show up (and show up they did). This event was very well planned and it was hard not to have goosebumps being there.

Now that our roster is finally set (pretty much), this would be my best guess for starting line up Jarron Coleman Juwan Gary Keisei Tominaga Brice Williams Rient Mast And what is beneficial this year as we have some depth and can adjust the line-up as needed and not drop off much as in past year. Have a feeling this team could be sneaky good this year.

Well, I know for fact he was caught with weed but didn't know about the gambling. What a multi tasker he is as can smoke weed and gamble at the same time.
-
Curious what you know as I do know he was caught smoking weed but this could be a separate issue.

I'm all for a challenging non-conference schedule but doesn't do us any good if you lose all the difficult games which we did last year. At this point, Fred needs W's and gain this team some confidence. We can help our SOS once we get to conference play. The downside is you can't afford to lose any games to teams with 200+ or 300+ KenPom ratings.

If he is projecting CJ to be a starter, I don't put a lot of stock in his evaluation.

2023 PG Simeon Wilcher -> UNC->St John

Nothing really other than showing that schools have always found ways to get around rules in place. Whether that is using NIL money as a scholarship if you don't have any available or making the best player in the country a walk-on to free up a scholarship for someone else, these things have been going on for awhile. -

Remember when Doug McDermott was a walk on his senior year and was the National Player of the Year. -
Here is my sharpie lineup Ramel Lloyd Juwan Gary Keisei Tominaga Brice Williams Rienk Mast The wildcard is Jamarques Lawrence as hard to keep him on the bench. Also have guys like Ahron Ulis who could start as well. Lots of different options this year for Fred to work with. I really like our top 9 and the variation of lineups you can do with it Ramel Lloyd Juwan Gary Keisei Tominaga Brice Williams Rienk Mast Blaise Keita Jamarques Lawrence Ahron Ulis Josiah Allick

USC & UCLA TO JOIN BIG TEN (beginning 2024)!

No way that is true -
Valid point and one of my frustrations living in Nebraska is that Football is king and every other sport is an after-thought. There is an old school mentality that UNL doesn't want any other men's sport to complete at the level of football and challenge it's place at the top. I get so tired of social media comments like "does NU even have a basketball team?". No doubt football bring in the most revenue but GREAT universities have overall good athletic programs across the board with winning football and basketball programs. Even Trev has made comments like "we all know that Nebraska is a football school". And sadly, we aren't even a football school anymore so there is nothing to fall back on.

If you going to raid a conference, getting USC, UCLA, Oregon, and Washington is getting the pick of the litter for the Pac 12. Personally, it makes no sense to have a conference that stretches from coast to coast but guess it's a sign of them times with money driving all the decisions. I'd much rather grab some midwest teams like Iowa State, KU or K-state but don't ever see that happening. I really thought the Big 10 missed the boat not trying to grab Texas and OU as that would have been a home run to land those two school but if can grab Oregon and Washington will be decent to add as well.
