  13. this game is becoming unpredictable now. damn all this unexpected winning! heh Screw it. Gimme the Kool Aid----- NU--73 MD--70
  14. (feels like he wandered into the sketchy corners of a godforsaken high school.) Well...I can see myself out.....:)
  15. we're going to have to be a whole lot higher than 100 to get into much of anything. i'm just wanting to see these guys play hard and do their best and set the table for next season. maybe they'll get lucky in the tourney.
  16. I think someone's being a bit too literal in their interpretation of "forced". It's less a Jean Claude van Dumb kinda force and more like a fait accompli kinda force--the absence of quality choices. as someone who almost went to UT for their doctorate, I can tell you texas has a lot more magic power in their wands than little ol' NU. that school is Ivy League Endowment levels of rich. And cash matters in the business of american education. and presumably that transfers to said schools' athletic departments. it was a clash of interests in the end in which NU was ill-equipped to play on a level field. Texas was being Texas, and we had to be us. Not a fair fight.
  17. I'm still bummed Zay got traded away from here. It was nice being able to hop down the road to see the Thunder play when he was there. San Antonio a bit longer of a drive. some great pics on this thread, tho. thanks to everyone posting them.
  18. the Super what? they're still doing that? guess i'd probably go back under my Rock of Indifference.
