    It's San Jose. There are a gazillion more "upscale" things to do in an incredibly wealthy city. Boulder's like that, too, when I went to grad school there. Basketball behind.....skiing. If he can win for a few seasons in a row, that might change the value of the ticket. Short of that...

    the fact that we're even able to have this conversation this year after a very quiet board typically this time of year is a cause for celebration. i haven't cared about quad this or quad that since Miles was here.

    there's a definite Hoosiers feel to Sam's rise from hoops obscurity to Daddy's Little Surprise. Happy as a pig in poop for both the Hoibergs. Even if midnight strikes eventually, this is one of the best Husker stories in recent years. And it can still get better.
