  1. man, if peltz can make that open shot even just 25% of the time that would help out.
  2. anyone else having a crappy ESPN 3 feed? trying to figure out if it's me or them.
  3. ah, so today's the big day up there, eh? naw, I'll wait here until next year. i'll use Rolling Rock in the interim....
  4. settling in for the big test of the non conf. let's, you know, pass and stuff, huskers. GBR!
  5. reverse jinx continues. it's working great. CU-79 NU-64
  6. great finish to the half. could go into the 60s!
  7. grinder of a game. fouls my biggest worry right now. refs calling tight.
  8. Why don't you ask him, what's going on? Why don't you ask him who's on his throne? Don't say that you love me (aiiiiieeeeee!) GBR!
  9. I"m guessing there would be a confiscation of an objectionable item, and that would also meet the compliance standards.
  10. All good stories have twists and turns... You can never know what an alternate universe has planned for you if only this or that had happened. I just feel sad for him and his family that he's gone. He was a good egg in an often less than good profession. Of course, given how our football team did tonight, it's easy to be prone to sadness....
  11. sad news. majerus was a good guy and a helluva basketball coach.
  12. leave it to sales to nail the loophole... or perhaps first 1000 fans get free "TIE fighters" from Star Wars. Cartman night: Respect my authori-tai?
  13. best thread of the season so far.... wish I could be there for the USC game!
  14. So, Narcissistic Kid walks into a bar...
  15. I think Toni Basil is open, too. Oh, Mickey, you're so fine!
  16. Ubel has to start. If our two wild cards don't show up, he's going to have to play 36-37 minutes, and you don't wait until the 10 minute mark of the first half to find out if Andre is a no show. It'll be too late by then.
  17. If this happened, Miles is national coach of the year.
  18. Obviously reverse jinxes are the order of the day. USC-68 NU-62
  19. KenPom's does, as well as a couple of other oddities. Fortunately, rpi is still not all that meaningful so far. Just remember that home losses are punished significantly by pretty much everybody, unless your opponent is so strong as to offset that penalty. The KSU loss at home is a big rpi ouch, just as Wake last year was. But this win probably mitigates that loss now, since road wins are always highly valued, even with weaker competition.
  20. great write up, dave. that was something. this game blew up a few actuarial tables. love it!
  21. is this an issue of bandwidth availability or is it a traffic buffer problem? it's an odd thing. it reminds me of dialup in the 90s...
  22. Here's the quote: "For those of you who predicted Nebraska to lose... you should be slapped!" Now, I'm reasonably fluent in English, and this reads as a pretty aggressive thing to say to other posters. And that's twice you've done it. Now maybe you're saying that you mean something other than what you type, but there's no way I'd ever know that. It reads like a guy trying to start a fight to me especially after you just did the same thing in the last game. Just think a little first. And I'll be happy to let it go and reboot and start over.
  23. grow the hell up. please. today.
  24. i'll be darned, but the "2's" may get this one right.
