I watched the Wisconsin game, and honestly, it doesn't matter what they play on D. We should be worried regardless. They have nice team. And they should pretty much obliterate us, unless they get bored. That was a pretty good Wiscy team they beat.

It might be a good idea to try and not focus so much on wins and losses. I think cwg was right above talking about looking for improvement, and the indicators of how basketball is going to be played in the program in the future. Personally, I see a season like this to just be a fan first, and to focus on the sport and our team's learning of it. It's easier than getting wrapped up in the traditional benchmarks of W's and L's. But that's just me.

hey, I'm still waiting for the explanation of the ulterior motives. especially since both Doc and Timmeh apparently share those hidden motives. this is better than agenda 21!

re: Peltz, is not as if there are alternatives at the moment. He does some things well. He hustles, switches off pretty well, and moves the ball upcourt without screwing up generally. we're playing walkons real minutes, and this is what you get. Norm, that's a good question re: Gallegos. He's got springs for legs, but doesn't appear to enjoy running into the trees (but loves running into the threes; ha! I'll be here all week). Probably just a contact allergy maybe. Gallegos and Almeida are the wild cards for us, obviously. Ubel and Talley are going to be pretty consistent. We need one of those two to show up to win games or stay in them. If both are invisible, tonight's the result. Next two weeks or so are going to be rough.

this. i expected either almeida or gallegos to get the third batch of points, and we'll need that to be competitive. but yeah, the drop between the Ubel and Talley and everyone else is sizeable.

this is where fans will have to be patient. doc would have had this game closer because of his system, but that system was hell on recruiting. hopefully miles just takes his lumps and plays how he wants to play two years from now. dreading that CU game, tho, after watching them last night.

well, a good preview of the next few months. hopefully the guys keep pushing and learning. kent's got some decent players. i did think it would be a little closer--didn't see the shooting woes being this bad--but all in all, not unexpected.
