One thing that I think will help our tendency to relax is that the above means that every team is going to have the tenancy to beat the other on any given night. We saw that with Minnesota. That was probably a good learning lesson and should bode well for our first two games @Iowa and @Maryland.

I read a lot of tweets that basically said it was Florida or Miami between that one. So picking up the other three is huge. Especially Robinson who chose NU over Bama, Oregon, and Someone else.

I think we may have had more fans at our open player practice than they did last night at OU as well.

I agree that we are a decent front court player away from being sneaky good. However, looking at that roster right there, I just have a hard time seeing a "bottom" four of the Big 10. To me, that roster screams 6-10. We still have some decent shooting with Tom and Nana. Have the experience with Roby. A wildcard but more like a draw four wild card in "Uno" in Burke, and the you have Jervay to go along with that. Brady has shown flashes and he will only be bigger and better.

Why would you not choose Nebraska. PBA, Bob D, Hendricks, heart of America. Man that would have been awesome.

I agree that I want to see a shot clock! 100%. I once played in a game that went 4 OT's and the only reason it went 4 OTs was because we got the tip and held the ball for the entire 4 minutes and took the last shot and missed three times. They got the 4th tip, took a quick shot and missed and then we hit the last shot to win. However, I know there is logistical things that must be accomplished. Specifically... money.

I think this was the ceremony for first time letter winners of last year. That's how I thought I saw the pictures. I think Palmer was in there as well.

While I don't question Iowas offense... I do question their D. The bad thing about that match up with us is that I don't question our O or our D really this year. I know what we can do. I don't think Iowa has five solid defenders to shut us down. Bad news for them because we have five guys who can score.

I worry about this. The average Joe will see 1-3 in conference and "here we go again." This board will be overrun either by first time posters or negative Nancy's. However, at this point we'd still be 11-4 overall with a very favorable opportunity to go 8-2 or 7-3 over the next 10 games.

Currently the Big 10 has six teams that would qualify as a Q1 home game. As we are one of those teams, there are five teams that qualify for us as a Q1 home game. There are also 11 teams that would qualify as a Q1 or Q2 home game. Currently the only teams that would be a Q3 home game are Rutgers, Illinois, and Penn State.

That's an interesting question. I can only speak for me personally because it's tough to gauge everyone's intrinsic values. However, there have been plenty of times that I have not been pleased with someone. I don't agree with what happened. It doesn't show in public and I don't treat them any differently in public. However, inside, I know what happened and the fact that I am not pleased means there is bad blood. I will always have that intrinsic feel of "anger" or "sentiment" toward this person and that will lead to what I feel would be bad blood intrinsically. Just my two cents and I could see how you could think otherwise.

Hope we get an ACC game @Duke or @UNC. Tom's dad will be there and he'll go off for 40!

No public bad blood, but behind closed doors is another thing. You’re not going to convince me that Miles was “OK” with how last years extension played out. So I guess we’ll agree to disagree.

Another masterful piece of scheduling for Miles was getting the OKST game on a neutral court over holiday break so that we didn’t play in front of a student less and possibly dead arena.
