I know you're all chomping at the bits for this. Soo.... Here it goes... Team A- Purdue. Have played a really tough schedule so far. THey have lost all of their Q1 games (away from home). They have a neutral win over Davidson in Q2, but otherwise have lost their other Q2 games away from home. Team B- Nebraska- Lost both of our Q1 opportunities so far, but they were both away from home. We will have a lot of opportunities this year. Otherwise we are unblemished in Q2-Q4 which is the only team out of these five that can say that. If things hold, our Q2 win over Clemson might move up into the Q1 range and Seton Hall could move from a Q3 to Q2. Team C- Kansas State. That Q2 win is over Penn on a neutral site. That loss to Tulsa is Q2 now, but could drop. Other big loss is to Marquette on the road. Team D- Kentucky. Have not really played anyone with a pulse outside of Duke and Seton Hall. Seton Hall is a Q2 loss for them and Duke is a Q1 blowout. Kentucky is the only team without a Q1 and Q2 win within these five teams. Team E- Minnesota. The team that it was gut wrenching to lose to is the only team out of these five with a Q1 win. Minny beat us and Washington on a neutral court. They have the one Q2 loss to Boston College however.

Dickie V has some serious love for Furman and TCU going... Yeesh. John Rothstein published his ballot before the NU vs OSU game. Would that have impacted his rankings? Paul Klee kept Villinova at 12 this week... yikes. A lot of the voters that have us out have Maryland and Kansas State as the teams that are in.

The NET shouldn't be the be all/end all right now, because the quadrant system says otherwise. Also, it's tough to win away from home. You need to protect the home court and steam those road and neutral wins when you can.

Roby is 100% the definition of a team player. He doesn’t need to “get his.” We have 5 starters this year who can score. What makes us dangerous is that our guys, especially Roby, don’t play like they need to shoot every time they touch the ball. Part of me was worried there wouldn’t be enough shots to go around this year. That subsided after about the 2nd or 3rd game.

Unfortunately, I don’t believe many good teams will want to play us there because it’s PBA north.

I love love love this team. One of the best 9-2 starts I can remember. Our only two losses are both Quad 1 games away from home. We’ll be fine I think. - Palmer was a man amongst boys tonight. OSU had no answer and no one who could guard him. - Our starting 5 (including Allen) is probably one of the best all around in the country. I firmly believe that. - Should be 11-2 heading into conference play #2. Don’t even tell me you were going to be upset with that. I would’ve taken that any day of the week before the season. - Need to take care of business in these next two. CSF isn’t great but they aren’t terrible. - Kudos to Tim for beefing up our non-con. That win tonight is a hell of a lot better than beating some SWAC team with no students in PBA. - A 10-1 Non-Con lays a solid foundation for the conference season. Go 1-1 to start January play and we’ll be talking seeding. I’m already almost to the point of talking seeding.

Thats OSUs game. Just like Illinois really. Just have to find other ways to beat them and we did.

Worst news of the day- we ain’t getting another “neutral” court game against anybody good at this arena. It’s a fricking home game.

Bad calls and booze makes 3K fans seem like 15K fans! Youve got to be able to review things that take a score away from a team. That goaltend was ridiculous!

Glynn spins so fast it’s a wonder he doesn’t get dizzy.

Difference I think was the OSU player extended his arm while remaining in the same position. Glynn put an arm up but stepped backwards without extending the arm. That’s the only way I could explain it.
