Utah State gets the 8 seed.

Oklahoma 7-11 and a 9 seed.

Iowa a 10 seed on the same side as Purdue. 6 Big 10 in just 2 quadrants.

Purdue with a 3 seed and 5 Big 10 so far in just 2 quadrants.

Wow. That Wisco and Oregon match-up should be fun.

Well. Two things working against us for that last spot so far if your're still holding out hope. Not a lot of love for the Big 10 in that first quadrant. MSU a 2 seed and Minny a 10. Also teams like Belmont and Temple getting in.

Belmont and Temple in. They will play Maryland who is a 6 seed. We beat a 6 seed so far.

I could see us as high as a 2 and low as a 4-5.

I think the 1 seeds go to the last four out, so we should know if we got one in the next hour or so.

At least no one has heard that we are lining up the band and have a plane ready to take us to Dayton. That doomed us last year. Maybe this year we’ve got a legit shot!?

I will say that we’re still in 1 bracket on BM and we were in a ton of first four, next four, and others considered on Bracket Matrix. I went through them all yesterday. There’s a chance. Very small, very slim. We would have to be that “one team” no one thinks.

Let’s just say that we did enough this past week to get me to watch the Selection Sunday show today. HOWEVER, I do not expect our name to be seen until this evening. My one biggest Nebrasketball thing right now would be this... our name is shown today. In that first 4 out that they show at the end. And we’ll loathe that loss to Wisconsin more than we ever did before.

Since we’re all conspiracy theoring... I will throw one out there that would be absolutely hilarious. The committee can’t decide on a last team. They like our story with limited players and never having won a tournament game. So they put us in the first four in Dayton against a team like Belmont. I’d love to see the look on Moos’ face. Would love to. Ok back to reality. Time to do the dishes.

Utah State deserves to be seeded higher than Navada. Prove. Me. Wrong.
