  1. I think he was talking about someone that rhymes with Lordy Kimunga
  2. Roby plays the crappiest, softest D I have ever seen..... FOUL! Kid can’t catch a break.
  3. Me: (Checks Twitter) Me: (Looks Up) how’d we get up 11?
  4. I’ve watched some Big 12 games this year. OSU looks no worse than teams like KSU, TCU, Baylor to name a few. KU, ISU, TTech look like the cream of the crop though.
  5. Miles has used both overseas trips perfectly so far. I think you can take one every 3 years? Miles has done fantastic with both of his trips.
  6. Two good looks. Allen with some D!!
  7. You can tell some of our guys don’t feel the best. James probably the least sick. We look a little slow. Find a way to win this sucker and then get healthy.
  8. OSU is scrappy. Also surprised we haven’t seen more of the Indiana transfer.
  9. http://www.seed-madness.com/TeamStats/QTSNebraska.htm Looks like we will be heading into this weekends game 0-2 in Quad 1 and 2-0, 2-0, 4-0 in the other three. OSU will be firmly a Q2 right now.
  10. Only people we saw in those pics were... So the starting 5 + 1 until I have confirmation is.... ? Palmer Nana Brady Thor Tanner Costello.
  11. Far less criticism if Moos goes this route. Besides, odds were that this year was not going to go bad. The right A.D. thing to do was give him the traditional extension. It's a lot easier explanation because it's the smart thing to do.
  12. 100% think that the quality of basketball is going up in our state. I was talking to someone the other day and they had a theory about why this might be true. Their theory was this... Nebraska was everything in the early 90's, late 90's in football. So when little kids were growing up, they watched Nebraska football. They wanted to be Nebraska football players. However, there was a huge lull in our football program from the 2000's through now. Combine that with fewer tackle football leagues for the youth players and all the stuff coming out about concussions and parents started to put their best athletic kids into basketball. When you play basketball from an early age, and the more athletes you can get into basketball from an early age, the more the players will be better later on. The kids in high school now and the graduates of the last few years when we have produced the most talent in-state in a long time were born in the late 90's and early 2000's. It's like USA soccer. We have a few ballers in soccer from the US, but compared to the rest of the world, we are not even close. However, we are starting to get some of our younger players involved in soccer. Some of our better athletes are choosing the soccer path. Now you are seeing a little bit about the rewards from that in terms of players like Pulisic, Sergent, Weah, etc.
  13. Agree with the tweet that I saw the other day that said NU could be sneaky good next year. Really, one solid Roby back-up away right now.
  14. I am wondering this as well. Smart move by Miles not to play his hand with who was all sick. For all we know, it's as likely that it was Brady, Johnny TB, and Tanner as it is Copeland, Palmer, and Roby. However, it should play an impact in the game either way. Going to be interesting to see how Miles coaches this one. Would think he won't go home with a T.O. in his pocket. Use all of the breaks that he can.
  15. You mean the hashtag #f***s***b**** was probably a little inappropriate to be posted on the NCAA Volleyball account. They deleted the tweet by the way.
  16. I think the problem is that your “reward” for a good year is seen as a kick to the nuts for most people... including the one who probably matters most.
  17. I’ll just say that I have a different idea on what “inconclusive” means than the replay people last night.
  18. Damn. That was fun. Sucks, but that’s some hella good volleyball.
  19. This. Is. Amazing!
  20. Purdue loses a Power 5 game. Rutgers going to lose to Seton Hall
  21. Good news is that I trust all 5 starters and Nana with scoring this year. So that shouldn’t be a huge problem.
  22. Miles said that Amir has mono and he will be out this weekend. Multiple other players have missed at least a practice this week. Only said that Amir is out for this weekend. Hinted that others could be out as well. Miles said that not everyone will be on the bus to S.D., but hinted that some may travel there by other means so as not to get anyone else sick. Now is the time for this to happen I guess.
  23. Now is the best time for this to happen however. We play just three games in 17 days starting with OSU. If we lose that one because of illness, it happens. Much better than having players out for 2 weeks and 4 games in the heat of conference play.
  24. EEK... Multiple players have missed at least a practice.
  25. I could listen to Kent say "Let's Twerk" on repeat all day!! ?
