I think we are up to #7 for freshman of the week.  I believe Natalie got runner up for player of the week.

Coatney is not happy that nat didn't get POW. I wonder with Jess getting freshman of the week  was part of why nat didn't get POW.

He's right.  That award should be Nat's.

The other 2 honorable mentions Banham and Mitchell in addition to Romeo had better stats. then Buss.  She probably got it  since it was her first and they also upset Mich. St.  Also Indiana hasn't had a player of the week for over 3 years.  Guess they try to spread it around if somewhat close.  Jess might of had to share more but her stats are so dominating it would be hard to give part of the award to anyone else.  Anyone know what the record is for number of times for Freshman of the week?

It should have been Natalie's award hands down! If for some unknown reason Natalie wasn't named the B1G Player of the Week this week (which evidently she was) it should have went to Jessica for her 2 performances last week. I know Kelsey Mitchell from Ohio St won both awards the same week last year, so why not Jess.

 

Hud, Mitchell had seven FOW's last season. Not sure if that's the record or not.
