As an Angel and Cornhusker, I couldn't see Ersty in Dodger blue. Glad he's staying as head coach of Nebraseball.

I was told the Erstad was offered the job but did not accept.  And that Eichorst has not spoken with him since he decided to interview.

 

I have not been a huge fan of Erstad up to this point,  I actually think he would end up being a pretty darn good MLB coach as opposed to a college coach...but, it would have been bad timing if he left us.

So they were going to just give the job to Erstad and not eliminate guys reality-tv show style like they have been doing? Isn't this Dave Robert's job to lose? Seems like something that could be true that probably isn't.
