Moving the Three-point Line: A Dead Issue?

At one point in time there was talk about moving the three-point line further back. Has that now become a dead issue? I haven't heard anything about it recently.

And I think it is about time we get an avatar for HuskerActuary. Even some mathematical tables would be an improvement upon the creepy silhouette. Or I could loan him a Walter or two.

No link.  I just thought it was being discussed along with changing the shot clock.  But I hadn't heard anything about it and was wondering what's come of the discussion.
