UNO is one of the fastest paced teams in the nation.  Their adjusted tempos:

2012: 11th in Div 1

2013: 1st in Div 1

2014: 4th in Div 1

2015: 1st in Div 1 so far.

There are a lot of teams that say they'll run the ball so even if they don't win at least it will be entertaining....Derrin Hansen walks that talk.

They've also had one of the worse defenses during that time.

Tre'Shawn Thurman out of Omaha is currently starting for the only Div I school in the state to offer him. Four guys on the roster hail from Omaha.  Two of them start.

Spot on - the Mavs are all about pushing the pace. Teams that don't take UNO seriously & treat the game like a glorified scrimmage start finding themselves taking bad shots early in the possession and playing at UNO's pace. Then if UNO's guards are hitting, it becomes a challenging contest.

UNO struggles against teams that don't get sucked into playing at that fast pace & are willing to make them work on the defensive end. With good ball movement, NU should find the driving lanes open much of the night, need to 'love the rim' Tuesday.

After Saturday's results in Milwaukee & Rhode Island, UNO will have NU's full attention. And defense certainly hasn't been NU's problem area to this point (outside of rebounding anyway). Just avoid shooting the quick 3s 12-15 seconds into the shot clock, get back in transition, and NU should win comfortably.

We need to protect the PBA again this year as road wins will be hard to come by.  We should win by 10+ points if we are on our game.

If we're really on our game this is going to be the least number of points UNO scores this year.

Really a fan of Miles' honesty multiple times early this season. Better to tell the fans there may be issues now rather than let our expectations get ignorantly higher.

Perhaps a "wake-up call" to our team more so than the fans' expectations. Although it certainly could apply to both.

Local media is making UNO out to be better than what they are after the Marquette W.

Lets not forget they lost to 1-3 Seattle by 24 and Marquette barely got by New Jersey Institute of Technology last night, winning by 5.

That may be.  But they have a few guys that could cause us fits.  Devin Patterson and Carter are very solid.
