"It's not definitive, but if you're getting towards the bubble, you better make sure you've at least shown some initiative to play some teams in the nonconference schedule or then it could become an issue,"

I think we did that.

We did.  I am glad he didn't say we actually needed to win any of those games.  :P

I know, right?

I think a bunch of those teams turned out to be better than expected. UMASS, Cincy specifically.

I wonder how big the Georgia win ends up being in the end.

It kinda evened out though.

I think a lot of thought FGCU could be decent and at least win their conference.

Also we know Miami would take a step back but not that BIG of a step back.

I don't know, I wasn't shocked by either of those things, honestly. Miami lost basically everything and FGCU lost their two biggest leaders in Brown and their coach. But, you're probably right. It mostly evened itself out.

Gotta give props to Miles & Co., they certainly know how to assist the RPI in the eyes of the selection committee. It's a real asset to have played the likes of UMass & Georgia on a neutral court and true roadies at CU & UC. Next yr NU will get the CU & UC duo at the Vault! Looking forward to seeing the matchups in the Hawai'i tourney & any other roadies that Miles & Co. set up in 2014-15.
