Evaluating team resumes

I have read that the NCAA committee will evaluate a team based on their whole team...and might give a team the benefit of the doubt if they lost a couple of games during a stretch where a team was comprised differently due yo an injury....ala Michigan state might get a bump if they are back at gull strength.

So, what does the committee due with Nebraska...we are a different team since Biggs was dismissed, does the committee give Nebraska a bump since we are much different team since Biggs was dismissed.

I personally don't think the committee should look at those things....I think you are what your record says you are.....but what does the committee do....

It all depends who is sitting in those discussions. We were barely looked at 3/4 through the season. That's why we're struggling to get in right now.

ya missing a non starter does not effect anything,  obviously the fact that were a different team though is already factored into our record as we won 8 of 10 or whatever it is without him.........what your referring to is based more on like marcus smart situation and whether or not the 3 they lost without him should be discounted, i dont think you should get any benefit of the doubt for a suspended player, maybe a hurt player....however with seeding you have to or else its not fair to the team who would play ok st first....meaning if ok st gets a 10 seed , well than some team who earned a 7 has to play a team that you could argue is a legit top 10 team first rnd.........keep in mind im just making up numbers for this example i dont think ok st is the best example but i couldnt think of anyone else.

No, I don't think we'll get a bump for Biggs.  He really wasn't a major contributor in my opinion.

It's hard to overlook a 3rd leading scorer of any team...
