Not bad for a State with less than 2 million people. But it is worth mentioning Nebraska leads All-time series vs. Creighton 25-22

One other thing about this list that caught my eye..... Nebraska, with a population of 1.8M has 3 D-1 schools and Minnesota with triple the population (5.4M) has only 1  ???!

25 out of 50? Yikes. However, I guess my rational side thinks that 25th is pretty high for Nebraska state basketball.

 Minnesota has a whole bunch of Div. II schools that offer hoops... but the real reason is that the Land of 10,000 Lakes has a boatload of hockey programs.

As someone who has spent 20 years in the TwinCities, AH brings up an interesting and valid point. What's funny is many basketball fans also like hockey, but hockey fans, in general do NOT like basketball.
