Possible New Additions to HHCC

It is that time of year again...with the season quickly approaching, I am getting ready to start the HHCC.  For those of you new to the board, we run a season long challenge around predicting the outcomes of each game.  You can see the scoring rules in one of the pinned topics above.
 
This year I was thinking of adding a couple options for season ending bonus points.  I would love to hear feedback from you about this.  This year you would have 3 options to earn bonus points, that would be subtracted from you final total from HHCC.
 
Bonus #1: Predict the Huskers Final Regular Season Win Total (predictions due by tip-off first game)
-50 Pt. Bonus for predicting the actual win total
-25 Pt. Bonus for predicting within one win 
-10 Pt. Bonus for predicting within two wins
 
Bonus #2: Predict the Huskers Conference Win Total (predictions will be due by tip-off of 1st conference game.  Will not post thread until final non-conference game is done)
-25 Pt Bonus for predicting the actual win total
-10 Pt Bonus for predicting within one win
 
Bonus #3: Predict the Final Standings for B1G Conference (predictions will be due by tip-off of first B1G Conference Game; standings will be based on the seeding for conference tournament)
-Points will be based on having the right team in the right slot
#1 Team - 12 bonus points
#2 Team - 11 bonus points
.......
#12 Team - 1 bonus point
 
Additional 25 bonus for picking all right.
 
I think this could be a fun way to add some season long excitement.  Please let me know if you would be ok with me adding these components to the challenge.  If more than 50% are ok with this, by Friday, I will start a new Rules and Scoring Thread.  I will also start a new thread for predicting season win total.

Heck, I don't fully understand what we do now, so if gets me a better chance of accidently winning I''m all for it.

I am not going to take credit for the oringial scoring...I just volunteered a couple years ago to create the spreadsheet and type in numbers

 

I hope this will give everyone a chance to make up for a couple bad guesses.

important thing is trying to minimize the mass defections after the first five games so we don't have a scoreboard littered with partial players. i'm for anything that keeps people committed to the game once they start. and thanks in advance for putting in the work again, ASCHusker. Got to keep the tradition alive!

I never understood the rules last year, and have no idea what you are talking about now. Therefore I'll just follow the lead of our legislators in Washington and vote in favor of it. And would this include a reevaluation of last year's results since I believe I was second? Now I have to get back to my worrying regimen in anticipation of the WS game tonight.

Good luck, Jimmy.  Pulling for you.  Saw a game in Fenway on 6/4, from the Green Monster, and Big Papi won it with a two run walkoff homer in the bottom of the 9th.  The karma continues, obviously.  Just remember your buddy HB if they win it all.
