TheKamdyMan Posted August 15, 2013 Report Posted August 15, 2013 Why was this moved? He hasn't signed an LOI... Isn't the recruiting forum for players who haven't signed an LOI? some people didnt want to go to the recruiting board anymore so they decided to change the rule to once they commit it can be brought over to the main forum. PimpMario Posted August 15, 2013 Report Posted August 15, 2013 Thanks everyone! I am so happy. Actually, now I am scared he is going to leave us. But I would rather live in fear that we can't hold onto a top recruit than apathy we cant get one to commit. Quote

Kendrick Perkins Posted August 15, 2013 Report Posted August 15, 2013 Here is a blurb from okhoops.com http://okhoops.com/?p=2859 This was an update given on July 9th. It appears that Jacob has developed quite a bit. If you follow the link you'll find a video with a few highlights, looks to be more aggressive/athletic Jacob Hammond, 6’10 C, OKC United Prep/Oklahoma Magic: It has been a long road for the Oklahoma big man. After starting his high school career at Duncan, he spent his sophomore year with the OKC Storm before moving to Wichita last fall and playing with national power Sunrise Christin. Now after a West Coast heavy spring with the Oklahoma Magic, Hammond returned to Oklahoma to showcase his improved skills. Scouting Report: After starting his career as a lanky forward, Hammond has added weight and power to his game and is now a bruising center. The Duncan native likes being physical around the rim and surprisingly has emerged as a vocal leader. While he has gotten tougher around the rim, he’s also gotten smarter and is less prone to leave his feet when protecting the rim. Even from April, Hammond showed a big improvement in his touch and confidence around the rim, while even displaying the potential to be a consistent shooter from midrange. Rivals.com has the Magic Center as the 139th ranked player in the nation and he backed it up by dominating around the paint against the Oklahoma Wizards Elite and the Oklahoma Storm, two squads with good size. Thank you for assuaging my fears. Feels good! Quote
The Coach Posted August 17, 2013 Report Posted August 17, 2013 A couple of quick clips of Jacob at :22 and 1:50. Looks like a pretty explosive player for his size. Quote
fred1212 Posted August 17, 2013 Report Posted August 17, 2013 does it bother anybody that he can't seem to shoot left handed? Quote
FredsSlacks Posted August 17, 2013 Report Posted August 17, 2013 does it bother anybody that he can't seem to shoot left handed? How can you know that for sure after seeing 2 video clips? Quote
GATA Posted August 17, 2013 Report Posted August 17, 2013 does it bother anybody that he can't seem to shoot left handed? LOL. It did seem a little soft that he went with the right at 1:50. But it's just one clip. Quote
