Article from April says that Miles and Smith were the first to start talking to him, back during his freshman year when they were at CSU. When they came here they immediately extended an NU offer last summer. One of his first 3 offers. Turner states that Midwest life is very appealing to him. Likes the calmness. I've read that he's really liking Oklahoma State and Kansas State. Get him to this campus and give us a chance. Myles Turner is going nuts right now. Shooting up everybody's rankings. He's going to be a five star, top 10 prospect by everyone's account very shortly here. Big dogs are circling, but from the little I've read, he sounds like one who may go out on his on course. Do our chances go down drastically as he blows up? Yes. But we have to find that stud that wants to be here. Why not this one? Myles Turner has stated within the last few days (as his number of offers from the big dogs rises) that he really likes K-State and Oklahoma State. He has also stated that he likes the Midwest and the lifestyle that it offers. Stillwater? Manhattan? I say get the kid to Lincoln and lets see what happens. Paraphrasing here, but Turner says that the door is still open. Then says that he doesn't hear as much from Nebraska any longer. Robin then speculates as to whether Turner is just telling him what he wants to hear or if the coaching staff has cut their losses to focus on potentially more attainable prospects. Either way, Myles Turner ain't comin' here. At least that's the way it sounds. Quote
