Tom Jones Posted December 29, 2024 Report Posted December 29, 2024 I hope not, but i fear that BP .... (others too, but they have not known as much HS success) .... is about to experience something entirely foreign to her - being pretty much out of the game early in the 2nd quarter and then just watching it get worse and worse all around her. If I recall it right, she was offered by UCLA. Neb Nets 1 Quote

Cazzie22 Posted December 29, 2024 Report Posted December 29, 2024 UCLA is big, quick and deep. The top teams in WBB are still a big cut above the rest. We will need to take care of the ball and shoot very well to make it a contest. This is the toughest road swing in the conference. Quote

Cazzie22 Posted December 29, 2024 Report Posted December 29, 2024 Doing great to be within 4. We need our two big girls to get through the 2nd quarter without fouling. Might be some of our best defensive intensity. They are just so big and deep. Quote
All About the Corn Posted December 29, 2024 Report Posted December 29, 2024 We need to keep it close in the first half. Nice to be up by one at this point. Quote

NUtball Posted December 29, 2024 Report Posted December 29, 2024 Well, they're battling. Just out-sized and out-quicked (and out-stooged). Need to protect the ball and hopefully make a bunch of 3's. Cazzie22 1 Quote
Cazzie22 Posted December 29, 2024 Report Posted December 29, 2024 We need someone to beat their pressure off the dribble. Allison has gotten into the lane and should play more. We are hanging in by playing decent defense but too many sloppy turnovers under pressure. Logan is having a tough time and guarding Betts is a problem. We have to rebound much better. If we can prevent another 10-0 run we might be able to hang in there. All About the Corn and NUtball 2 Quote
All About the Corn Posted December 29, 2024 Report Posted December 29, 2024 Only down by 7 and it could have been worse had then not missed all those threes. Cazzie22 1 Quote
Bugeaters1 Posted December 29, 2024 Author Report Posted December 29, 2024 Another team that is amazed that they fouled. Quote
redsteve Posted December 29, 2024 Report Posted December 29, 2024 Our own turnovers are really hurting us Quote
