What's Hoiberg's record when we have roughly a week off? Isn't it miserable?

It looks like we've performed better with moderate time off. Let's just call it "The Goldilocks of basketball scheduling".

Hoiberg's Record at Nebraska:

(Days between games)

1 to 3: 25-48 (8-35); 34% (19%)

4 to 6: 17-24 (9-9); 41% (50%)

7+: 3-9 (1-2); 25% (33%)

Overall (incl. season openers): 48-83 (18-46); 37% (28%)

What are the numbers in parathesis supposed to represent? I thought it was supposed to be conference games but I can't reconcile the totals

Gotta include season openers 3-2, then it adds up.

They were intended to represent conference game. I'll have to take another look when I have a chance. I also excluded all postponed and canceled games during 2020-2021.

Indeed.  I'm happy with 2-2 in that stretch; though, that's not the way I thought we'd get there.

.500 in conference (in the next 18) could have us dancing.

I'd prefer to be better than .500 to make certain NU is indeed in the Big Dance. Let's see how this ride goes, the past 2 games' incredible 2nd halves certainly have been a lot to witness than the prior 2 endings.
