NET vs. RPI

I'm just wondering what site/sites you guys use for the NET/RPI ? I use Nolan Warren.

The first NET ranking of the season will come out in early December on ncaa.com. Then I just check there for daily updates. I don’t look at RPI anymore since the committee doesn’t use it (right?). For getting an idea of just how good teams are, I like Torvik’s.

Nolan Warren is really good for quick looks at resume,  vs Q1, Q2, etc.

Rutgers has run the gambit of NET ranges and it shows that NET ranking isn't the sole determination of who makes the tournament.

 

Last year they had a NET of 40 and didn't get in the tournament.

Two years ago they had a NET of 77 and made the tournament.

Do mean it shows that the ranking is NOT the sole determination?

I always thought that they just use NET to set Quads, it’s not used as criteria like some computer rankings.

Noticed Nebraska as a 9-seed in two brackets and a 10-seed in another. Interesting to see, if nothing else. GBR
