Correct. Wed, Nov 28, 1990. Coming off an 18-loss season. Right after beating St. Louis and Illinois in the San Juan Shootout. And then we beat a top-5 Michigan St team at home and Vitale calls it a fluke. Didn't take long after that for him to realize we were legit that year.

Yeah that was Steve Smith's senior year I believe.  One could be forgiven for thinking that Nebraska would struggle against an MSU team led by the school's all time scoring leader.

Talk about sunshine pumping.  I don't listen regularly, but the show on 1240 KFOR at 10 this morning was epic!  They had Henry T. and Jerry Shoecraft in studio.  Henry T. is so sold on this year's team, as only he can iterate.  They then brought on Robin Washut, and he confirmed everything Henry is excited about.  Can't wait for the season to start!

I'm loving the publicity. But goodness, that is a weird list. There are guys on there who aren't even the best shooters on their own team. Jahmir Young shot 31% last year, made a whopping 1 three per game.

I woulda swore Steve was gone, but nope you’re correct !   I do remember Beau’s game winner and rushing the floor to celebrate.  I can’t remember if we were down 1 or tied, so I can’t remember if it was a 2 or 3.  Do remember we won by 2.

I would venture to guess that one of the metrics to evaluate this list is based on the amount of leg hair each shooter has.
